They have said though that once you get to higher levels, you have much less of a chance of burning lower level recipes, so that's kind of nice. I'm still looking forward to seeing what kinds of seasonal recipes they come up with.

Also having it in the MC will prevent some of the ingredients from getting too expensive now, hopefully they go back down even more too. I know a lot of people just got excited, but since it's a permanent feature maybe some people will forget about it or get bored of it later on and the ingredients won't be as in demand anymore.

I think this is true. I've made three recipes while at level two and all three have been successful, so yay.

Yeah, having the vanilla extract in so many of the recipes was maybe not such a great idea. I'm in the middle of my 4th attempt now, hopefully it's successful so I can get to level 2.

I get not wanting to roll all the recipes out at once but I wish they all didn't depend so heavily on the same ingredients. I know that "they all restock" makes sense but it's definitely frustrating at the moment.

At least most of them restock. if you guys aren't saving Dark Matter Fruit and Bunny Fruit for later recipes, do it now. Otherwise we're stuck buying from other people or waiting for the Ikudamwhatever tree to take pity on us that day.

Lol same, I need the foods for my pet eventually anyway, plus I'm not really spending on anything else right now so it's okay. And yeah, quests will earn it back quickly enough.

I've gotten a couple of the fruits from the baking kits, actually. And I'm saving all of the ingredients I get from questing or vending in my vault now too. I'll be prepared once I level up some more. :P

Yep! The kits give out all the ingredients for the maple cookies, plus other random ingredients from the other recipes, including the fruits. I'm glad they made the fruits available that way as well.

Oh I forgot about the DC, I'll have to look through there too. It was nice of them to fill that place up again, even if the more needed ingredients probably got taken really quickly.

Yeah, you can't find extract or salt or baking powder in there for love or money. Some of the higher level recipe ingredients are there, though, which is nice.

Yes, they do, thankfully. The things that don't like chocolate chips, canola/olive oil, etc don't, so I'm looking ahead to see what's required to have and trying to make sure I have at least a couple of them.

They really have. Now that folks are at level 2, dark matter fruits have gone up in price from 23k to 97k. If nothing else, stocking up now could turn a nice profit if not baking.

I'll just try to grab as much of a wide variety of ingredients as I can for now, I can be patient and wait for prices to go down if need be.

Somehow I still haven't burned anything yet, which is slightly disappointing since I need the burned items for foods too. Although my pet probably doesn't mind not having to eat burned food. :P

Me too. I'm seeing a few recipe ingredients pop up as quest rewards too, which is also nice. So yeah, it'll get done someday, I just want to get it done as fast as I can, lolol

To be fair, I've only done it 4 times. But compared to what other people have said, it seems like I've just been super lucky so far. That's true though, the burned items will probably become really common junk eventually.

Well hopefully my luck can hold out too, I gotta do some real cookie baking today. XD Or tomorrow, Husband has to take them into work on Friday for a bake sale. I'm being super lazy and using cake mix though, lol. I love how the cookies turn out when they're made that way so it's a win-win. XD

Crazy week so far. Been trying to organize with realtors to set up some apartment showings. I'm looking forward to moving into a new place in a few months. As big as my apartment is, the kitchen sucks. I miss baking! Pinterest has me wanting to test out some macarons recipes, but my oven is wonky and I don't have the patience to try and calibrate such an old appliance. Have extra fun baking cookies for me, :P

The new baking feature is really cool. I haven't gotten into it much yet (just baked one batch of cookies with the free kit), but I like all the things I can get to throw into my hoarding gallery to get me slowly closer to the 45k mark!

Lol please no more! Even though I went the lazy route and used cake mix it was still a lot of work. I tried something new and using one of the chocolate cake mixes, put white chocolate chips in... oh man they are SO GOOD! I want to eat them all. The white chocolate chips taste like little marshmallows. drools I'll have to make those again for ourselves. XD

And thank you so much , I'm tweaking it to try and get the perfect blend of cream with some dabs of pink and blue to go with the background but it's not... I dunno I'm still not satisfied with it yet. shakes fist Guess it's a good thing I started early then, lol.

I love the new baking feature, and treated myself to some MC kits to get the first level done, but as always relying on restocking is a nightmare. Would have been good to have 'required' items as slightly higher prices constant stock (like GoOutdoors) and the other items maybe like questing from a large random pool.

Thank goodness for the donation items. I am off to collect!
