I managed to make successful maple leaf cookies from the supplies they gave us in the baking kit, but yeah I'll probably hold off for a bit until things become more affordable again.

Well they added the baking kit to the MC, so while it's still expensive it ends up being cheaper than some of the user shop prices right now. If you can afford it and want to bake some things, it's a little better than trying to wait for prices to go down I guess.

I did see this is a permanent feature and not an event... so will probably just wait for prices to mellow out a bit... maybe try to RS a few things after this weekend when I have extra time again. :)

Just me or is the website crazy as hell? 30 secs to refresh a page, cant even do quests or restock with this lag

Yeah, I really hope it does calm down over time. I'm only a little worried because I know they have been mentioning having seasonal recipes and things like that, so prices might go up a bit again when those are around.

It was like this last night too, and kind of all throughout the day today a bit. I do hope they can figure out what's going on soon, because it is extremely annoying.

It's been ridiculous most of today. I did 10 of Carl's quests and they took me 5-6 times longer than usual because of the lag. I didn't bother with any else because my patience was wearing thin by that point.

Anyone have Pokemon Y or Omega Ruby and want to trade/battle just for shits and giggles?

And the baking thing...Is it a limited time, or likely to be around for a long time?

Staff has said it's a permanent feature, so you'll have plenty of time to work on your levels if you want to wait for prices to become stable again first.

I think I can stand to wait a little (or long) while.

I've somehow been lucky enough to be successful in both of my attempts so far. I might buy a couple more kits from the MC later on, this is kind of fun and it's not super expensive that way.

I think I'll give it a try when I beat the Pokemon League in Y (and before i decide to CATCH THEM ALL!)

Yesssss, the baking kits in the MC have been helping me too . I am wondering if checking a certain amount of times is what helps them turn out well? Or is it totally just luck? I can't imagine it being solely luck since that's not really how baking works. ponders

For this feature, it's 100% luck. I'm 3/3 for successful attempts now, and I completely forgot about one of those for over an hour before I checked back. Also staff members have said too that there is a certain chance of burning something depending on what level you are and what level the recipe is that you're trying to make. It has nothing to do with how quickly you check after they finish.

I'm thinking it's luck. I'm running about 50% success, but who knows if that's even normal?

I'm so glad for the kits in the MC. I'm spending all my money but at least it's kind of fun? Plus new pretty fooooooods
