Don't worry, not really "quitting" or anything. Just not really as invested in caring about the scores anymore and am instead focusing more on team interaction/getting to know people since that's really what matters in the end.

Whenever I donate the team score goes up by 1, so it's not a multiplier. Maybe there were bonus points added the first day?

I'm going to keep donating as hard as I can, but I agree, I'm disappointed at how the competition has been managed. I especially wish the scoring and team stats were completely transparent. I guess it's expected for any event they've never done before to be rocky lol.

I figure it ends in 27 hours so I may as well go as hard as I can anyway xD how much can I really lose?

- how are you seeing the team score update when you donate? The team scores are cached and only show updates periodically. Your personal score updates right away each time you donate though - could that be what you're looking at?

- I mean the multiplier is being applied to the team score, not your personal score; your personal score is just the number you donated/cheered. I'm wondering that because there's no way the 804,631 is a total number of donations/cheers. Considering the majority of people who have posted their scores are in the 1000-2000 range, and I don't think we have 400 members

There's also the "communal donation pile" for people who didn't pick a team. I wonder how that works....

What are auto refreshers? I see some people in the others groups have been using them.

I mean to me that would explain the massive jump in some numbers if people auto refresh while they sleep..

auto refreshers let you automatically refresh a page at a given interval (you can set it yourself to as little or much as you want). It would work if you had, say, 500 of a single kind of item, but be ineffective if you only have a few of everything, since you need to refresh on the items donation url.

This isn't really why they're using them I'm guessing! For donation it isn't helpful but think about snowballs at avalanche emporium. You are able to buy every 30 seconds so you could set an autorefresh for every 30 seconds and in 20 minutes you have 40 snowballs without any effort because you can be in a different tab doing stuff

So if you put it on while you slept, had the sP and the page didnt error out you could theoretically rake in items.

Okay, to be honest, I chose this team, not because I am a personal gamer. Nor am I am Nerd/Geek. I did it because it reminds me of my awesome son, and everything he does daily. With that said, I hope everyone can accept my reasoning, behind why I am here to support this team ~ :) ~

Autorefreshers actually have never been illegal in Subeta in the almost 9 years I've been around. They're frowned upon because they can be a lag source but no official rule against them (they were banned on another popular petsite)

ALSO staff do try to introduce coding to combat autorefreshing

Yeah the fact that the snowballs are 5000 sp makes it slightly less likely for folks without lots of spare sp. But tbh, if you autorefreshed for 7 hours while you slept or was at school or work you get 840 snowballs for 4.2 mil

Weird, I always thought they were like a freezable offence but then there was a time there that sneezing seemed like it was. I'm probably getting my sites mixed up again then.

I noticed people in some other threads paying up to 15-20k per item so 5k seems pretty tame in comparison, haha.
