- The worst :( At least your muse came out to say high though, mine are too lazy to do anything :P
LOL Yes that's always how he is.... such a jerk.
I think I need to find Muse bait....
How is everyone doing with NaNo this year? I'm not participating myself.
4,702 words...
Granted, I gave up a long time ago... :(
I decided not to participate either, which I think was actually a really good idea as Real Life has been monstrous.
I hope you're able to get writing again. Not necessarily for NaNo, but for the enjoyment of doing it in general :)
Hey, look on the bright side, 4,702 words is better than 0 words, which is what I had. At least you tried.
I might participate another year. I tried it once and found that forcing words to come out of my finger tips only works when I have writers block. Other times, I need to let the thoughts flow freely at their own pace.
This is actually my first year doing it and it's working suprisingly beautifully!
I'm doing it, super behind though. But I'm not taking it too seriously this year, I'm not actually trying to write a novel.
I've got a new novel idea guys!
I'm soooooo pumped!
Too bad it's already the 30th though... :(
But I'm attending a local NaNoWriMo write-in at one of my local universities. :)
You can write outside of NaNo of course! :D Though I understand the benefit of having the word tracker to keep you motivated and things like that. I hope you have a fun time at the event, too!
Thanks!
I wish you well in your writing endeavors!
I managed to get about 250 words on my lunch break today for a short thing I'm writing up as an RP starter, so... thank you for the good thoughts! It worked! o/
- Awesome! And yeah, there's no rule that says you can ONLY write in November. This isn't Nightvale. lol.
I DID THE NANOWRIMO THING YOU GUYS! Squeeee! 😊
- Congrats!!
I didn't make it to 50k myself, didn't even break 40k this year, but you know what, I liked taking it slow, and I don't feel burnt out on anything that I was writing. I'm in a good place right now, and instead of hating everything I wrote, I like it, and actually want to keep working on it. :)
Huge congrats! :D
Not burning out is SO IMPORTANT! Well done on getting a ton of work in!
(also, wtf double posting earlier... all the 502/504 errors are killing me)
- Yes it is. So hopefully I won't just give up on writing for another full year again. I started with some of my subeta pets' stories, so hopefully I can get those done and maybe work on some profile art and coding for them (finally, after almost 10 years! lol)
Ugh, right? The errors are so frustrating!
