I'm getting ready to enter Tier 8 and i was wondering about weapons.

I was thinking of these weapons (I have them all) Blessed Trident of the Banished One Large Gutting Knife Rapier of Error Prodigy Staff Sierrac Basal Ice Flail

but i noticed that i didn't have any major "fire/magma/hot" weapons. its all basically water, freeze and wind.

i was wondering about "rounding out" the set

I realize, that certain challengers are better fought with certain weapons. but i was trying to get a basic that would be most of my 'starter' (or 'base') set.

I do intend to try reporting it if they continue ignoring my requests. They've been active onsite several time since the time they promised to return it, so I really don't understand why they haven't :/

I still like your guide a lot for my lower tier pets and I can just guesstimate the ones that are missing.

I am so the wrong person to ask! My strategy, if it can even be called that, is pretty much "find the strongest weapons that seem to work best for multiple opponents for my tier, have a couple of healers and shields, and wail away until I die. Wash, rinse and repeat."

Yeah I know it comes down to luck and getting good chain freezes and good blasts. There was twice yesterday where I should have won and of course when he gets low enough in health he keeps using that stupid death roll and I wound up tying instead. I had to rage quit yesterday I was just so fed up after coming so close =/

Congrats on Felibot! I remember stumbling into that fight as a T5 thinking "it's a cat thing in a cardboard box. How hard could it be?" and it cleaned my clock. SO satisfying to finally beat a hard opponent!

That's my problem too. Not enough AP. Might splurge on some boosters to see if I can get my AP up, but cobalts don't block what the stupid snake throws. UGH THE SNAKE

My strategy is... If I lose I get stronger and/or more HP... Then try again. I really hate losing (except boss battles).

ok...so I'm beginning to think that maybe all my losses is not because I'm doing something wrong but because the site keeps breaking while I am battling and when I am forced to refresh, my equipment doesn't work properly. I used my energized helmet when the stupid battle screen froze up and was forced to refresh. I saw it had used the item but the freeze didn't activate....wtf. This is so extremely frustrating when there's only so much time left to get 2 miserable wins in.

I hope the site 502/4s mean there's work behind the scenes and our prizes are on their way (not that I mind waiting one or a few more days, today was stressful, so I'd just like a pick me up haha).

- Lol, better than they way I fight. if I can't win with my default set, it's back to training! What can I say, I'm lazy.

- Boo, that sucks. Maybe they just came on briefly to put their pets in training or something (like I do) and haven't checked their messages, let alone had time to fight with the wardrobe to get items out. (yay optimism?? lol)

Yeah, my default set is my strategy too. It's about all I can do to switch out a couple of weapons and scrolls. xD

It was actually a weapon I lent them - the ONE time I lend one out, haha. But they've been on the forums and even did a CW transaction with someone so it's really bizarre.

idk if you got any replies to that but imo in tier 8 it isn't as important to have a rounded out set unless you're fighting a challenger that does a certain icon type and you are struggling with them. tier 8 doesn't have too much that is worth investing in right away. when you get to t10 though you start getting into some very reliable weapons that have solid defense

if you notice any newer opponents not listed and have a tier estimate, let me know and I can update the guide :) you can keep it or send it back, doesn't matter to me =)
