I think it's definitely possible with a high T10 if they are using something like the gauntlet or DGR. Gauntlet is definitely ideal. It never hurts to try! Well, I guess your pet does get hurt, but you can always heal =P

That's awesome! Congrats on making it to 5 wins on Crawbeast! I hate it when he uses his death roll right when you finally have him cornered. That happened to me a lot when I was going for my last 3-4 wins. I ended up swapping out a few of my weapon mods for Freezing Baguette Crystals to increase the likelihood of random freezes, which definitely helped!

Glad that helped, sometimes having an extra full heal item on hand can make all the difference, but it's so easy to forget to equip them. Glad to hear your blasters worked for you, they never seemed to make much of a difference when I was battling him. Although I also wasn't generally focused on what they blasted so much as whether my parched baguette crystals were activating and whether I'd managed to freeze Crawbeast.

I wound up swapping out my gelaspell scroll for 2 more perilous whirlpools and a cobalt scroll. That seemed to do the trick.

So I realized I should probably try to beat Saggi and read up that I should have something to block either dark or light. I was wondering whether a dark or light blocker would be more useful for other challengers. Which is the more worthwhile investment?

It'd actually be kind of cool to look at all the challengers per tier and see which icons are best against them and which need to be blocked most and pooling that .

A dark blocker would be more worthwhile, but most of the good ones are expensive. I use Fatal Fire (or Cobalt Eternal) Scrolls for affordable dark blocking.

As for seeing what each opponent does, General Battle Opponents Guide (V1.5) is your best bet.

Yeah, that's why my strategy relies upon increasing the likelihood of me freezing him as much as possible. That way if he's frozen he doesn't get the chance to use his death rolls. Not easy to do, but it definitely pays off in the long run.

What sets are y'all using for your t11 pets? My pal is mid-t11 but struggling for wins on Crawbeast but I think she can get to 5 with the right weapons. I'm on my phone so it's a struggle to jump into battle and check what the best method is. Any tips? Thank you!

Water and dark are his main icons followed by physical and ice.

As is T11, MW is out as a water blocker so i'd consider something like ME (Dark) and Ether (Pysical) might be a good set up. Would rely on RNG but should work.

Also freezer scrolls are the cheese way to do it, smashers are good as not only do they freeze they block 75 ice. So if you need some extra let me know as im willing to lend. My strategy after thats pretty limited.

Thanks for the tips! I knew water was the big one but wasn't sure about the others. I have a Tempestuous Bladed Gauntlet, ME and Ancestral Unrest so might be able to cobble something together with them. If you wanna borrow just lemme know an I'll attempt to pull them out of my armory.

I needed a bunch of Forj scrolls, Sancturia scrolls, potions, and pylonics to help them out. Glad it worked out, Astiza had a rough time between the 2.
