Thank you! Yeah I almost had a breakdown and was going to just buy the damn scroll, but I pumped myself up again and said I would do it.

It definitely took the right strategy. I had to get lucky and hope that he didn't do a lot of damage to me in the beginning, then as he started to get around 14k health, I chain froze with everything except for two scrolls to both do damage and regain my health, then I had to chip away at his health until it was low enough that I could freeze him with the last two scrolls and kill him before he used the death roll

I got 3 wins with the following set:

Tempest gauntlet, AU, RB, soma, RV, reviver, pquill, energized helm

And for scrolls I used 3 perilous whirlpools, GotF, skelly, shriek, psycho smasher, and gelaspell, plus mercurial throwing vial and all of the pylonics.

For the last two wins, I found it was easier to bump strength, speed and def to at least 2,600 then I changed up my scrolls so it looked like this:

5 whirlpools, GotF, skelly, shriek, psycho, and cobalt.

I was having better freezing luck with the whirlpools instead of gelaspell.

How many losses did it take you ? Definitely sounds doable! I have 3 shrieks and a smasher I can lend so might be able to cheese it.

You know Ocean Currents would be useful for my upcoming Forj fighting marathon. Aftershocks is great but the water attack would be more valuable. Hopefully next time they bring Crawbeast back (if they do) I'll be able to take him.

- Same. Although, this is my favourite SBQ line release recently, I actually like most of the items, instead of just one or two. Also, if you want, you can borrow my ocean current scroll for Forj-ing. I'm not likely to use it any time soon, and I have holy deluge in case I do decide to go after Forj with my babies.

.... I effing HATE challengers who spam heal..... I had him down to 14 one turn and he spam healed right back into the blue.... and I had no other healers or blockers. [edit] You Lose 😦!

- Agreed, especially if they have % healers, when their health increases by 1000 or more per fight, even 1% healing does significantly more healing. I believe in you though! You can do it!

Nope seems like almost every weapon has a heal and hits for far more icons that can't be blocked with a single set of weapons. I got 3 wins but just getting flung to the mat, beaten and bloodied. I'm tired of trying. I don't have the energy any more to grind for wins.
