that is exactly how I feel. It is like I trained my pet so hard, made it to tier 13 and yet that is not good enough to win top prizes, even after battling for 10+hours. It kinda is very discouraging and feels like I wasted my time. That is my personal opinion on it. I am so discourage for future battle bosses now. Since I know I will never be able to get top 10 or even top 25.

I managed to get a core this year. I never thought I would, considering I fell asleep three hours during the second wave... But that means I don't have to try next time. I won't be greedy.

I bought the core and won the Gelatin Concoction and made my Maniacal Essence! I had to work the weekend so no time to battle that long!

I hope they revamp boss battles. This was the second one I've ever participated in, but the first one where I gave it my all, and I did not enjoy it one bit :/

I finished 21st one year when 20 cores were given out. I was pretty discouraged that year but it just made me want to come back and work harder the next time!

I think this is only the 2nd time I've won a core. I finally have one in my armory since I made a ME with the first one.

On the bright side, Elfric really did amazing work!

Yikes, that is discouraging x_x I'm very competitive so I always try my best, even if I don't end up succeeding :P

I dug up an old thing in case anyone wants to compare their work this year to the last one.

Last time, Thracian placed ~41st with 2.6 mil damage, and this year we got top 25 with 11.6 mil damage. Almost 4.5x better in two years, not bad.

Still completely hate this format, for the record. And I got lucky with the waves; the first one died at 11 pm my time and the second one came out at 5 am, so I only missed an hour to sleep and an hour to dinner.

But at least now I can recoup what I spent on my core two years ago.
