If you're in the high tiers, like t11 to low t13, I think it'd be sensible to build a dedicated small pet for future events if we continue this way. Just pump AP, because scrolls are broken, and pump strength to get the most bang for your buck. Should be easy to get top 10s, at least.

I really hope we get changes for future boss events, because this implementation was the worst it's been in a long time in my honest opinion. 12 hours is just not enough. It's enough if you want to battle through the whole thing I spose, but that represents a small slice of the battlers.

BUT I realise I see this from my biased, prizeless point of view. So grain of salt.

pitty i didnt got the core but i expected it because i didnt had much time this year to battle him due to real life things todo so i will have to wait until i am able to use that Gelatin Concoction until i win a core for making the weapon

I wound up with 9 prizes but am a little confused by that based on the news. They say a total of 8 prizes based on how much damage your pet dealt. Then they say 2 special prizes are awarded to the top battlers in their tier. So what does it mean that I got 9 prizes then?

The only new ones were and which were the prizes for top 10 in each tier. Everything else was old stuff that got re-released.

welp unlike kiyo this boss will be around to try again in the future.

Was able to answer that one for me :D I apparently came in top 10 for T11 (woot!!) but didn't do enough damage for the tooth or the core. If I only it didn't happen during badminton and if I didn't have to leave for dinner the first night I might have actually been able to do enough damage to get both T-T

thank you very much only 2 to hunt down then or to earn it if possible next year again :):) all the rest i have earned previous years - just that core is a hard to get one rofl

That was the results of only one battle. I was hoping I could get some more in for the new prizes, but congrats to all that have won a core!

didn't ~5k pets fight against Kiyo? is this poor timing or less overall activity or just less interest in battling?

I think it could also be because the boss didn't last nearly as long. There are probably numerous time zones that may have not been able to fight him at all.

PetHunter did 183,666 total damage! That was the worst iv ever had :( 5 battles

yeah that was my thought too. this one lasted about 12 hours. Kiyo was what, 18? more spread out though.

, also, wasn't Kiyo at the end of a plot? That would have drawn a lot more people in than just wave after wave of jellies that would be of little to no interest to non-battlers.

yeah that probably contributed a lot to it too. but still, this has been a week long event and everyone knew it was going to end with a boss.

I cleared my weekend so I would definitely have the time to fight. sucks you missed out though :(

maybe the non battling damage doing contributed a lot too? 5x fewer people though is a large amount

Maybe a combination of less time and less people online. I want to think that during the event last year, there were more people online during the steps and all of that. For the war last week, I didn't notice much of a change in the amount of people online every day like there is for other events.

I think more people worked on the minis to get the slayer and they didn't bother the big boss.. I actually needed only 200 more battles to reach the top 25.. but my internet provider did works so I had no internet many times during the day for at least 20 minutes.. I could do more but bleh, didn't work this time..
