Alien: YOU KNOW, I AM NOT SURPRISED YOU WENT WITH THAT IDEA. CACKLES HYSTERICALLY Gosh though, as soon as I saw the image / before I read your little comment or saw anything on Toyhouse, I blurted out, "IS THAT VEHNAM?" Oh man I love this character of yours so much. His Toyhouse backstory is absolutely hysterical / wonderful and it was a joy to read, and I also mega-love his color scheme for his clothing; those warm colors go so well together, and I love red+purple schemes a lot. The darker contrast and the bit of blue are also good offsets to the palette! That little upturned tongue in his facial expression, and the way you did that scar is nice too. Lovely!

Alien: I love what you did for Alien. I'm really into pixelated pieces / styles myself. I love the way you shaded it and the colors of the eyes; the body being grayscale / monotone really makes those stand out a lot since they're more vibrant! It has a HECKA lovely mouth and those claws are really marvelous.

Raven/Goblin: Oh wow, did you combine two of the prompts into one? Very nice; I love the teeth on that goblin, as well as its overall facial structure. It definitely captures the spirit of what a goblin is iconically if you ask me! And that raven is lovely too; I love the way you did the open beak. I think my only real suggestion/critique is to add some more throat feathers since when ravens vocalize, their necks really puff up quite a bit! Lovely work though!

Anyways, this is the Moon from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask! I am so predictable for some of these prompts, seriously… but gosh the demented moon is so fun to draw though. And I feel like we can all agree this nightmare fuel fits in with the Halloween prompt rather perfectly. :’)

I probably could’ve done a bit of a better job on the composition but to be honest I’m pressed for time currently, and I have a LOT of things I need to get done today. Not to mention, I kind of wanted to do a more chill / relaxed / easy picture in anticipation of what I hope to be able to pull off tomorrow…

I wanted to add more about your piece from yesterday since I saw the stills! First of all these images are pretty huge. And while I know the background graphic contributes a bit to that, it's still pretty massive in size hehe. I can see why they took so darn long! Man I hope I'm getting the names right lol Kamukura: The hair on this character just came out so fabulous? Those long, thin strands are so cool looking. Just AHH the shading on the hands too man. Slaying it. Crown above the head?? AHH perfect. And I just love the color you picked to shade all the black/dark gray because it really makes it super cool! Hinata: I remember you saying the expression was giving you a hard time, but it really came out extra great. The flow of everything (chains / pose / etc) really looks great, and when you layer it with the other image in the animated version is has a really fabulous effect. Seriously. I'm glad you went the extra mile with this one since it gave you all the feels! (Keep up with breaks and stuff tho of course B) )

I am ridiculously predictable on some of these prompts… Vaati used to be my favorite fictional character until Komaeda showed up in my existence radar. Uh, oops?

I decided to take a more simplistic approach to this piece given that I need a break from the really intense / hardcore image I drew yesterday for Frankenstein. Not only that, but I have drawn / spotlighted him numerous times. The next couple of images may also be kind of more on the chillaxed side of things as I regain my bearings, because I am starting to feel burnout / drained.

Vaati isn’t necessarily a bat, but he’s rather associated with them. The designs depicted are actually a mixture of his six+ forms (he literally has so many eyeball incarnations) + the little eyeballs he summons in his Reborn form. The reason I made his expression sad is due to the fact it reflects the actual game, as well as his themesong, Vaati’s Origins. The Latin text reads “weeping wind” basically, since Vaati is a wind mage/sorcerer.

I think The Minish Cap is literally the most tragic game of the Zelda franchise, and an interesting parallel to Majora’s Mask’s atmosphere. Majora’s Mask is an incredibly serious and intense storyline, but it ultimately ends on an extremely positive note when they reconcile with the antagonist in the end. The Minish Cap, however, is lighthearted and fun, but it ends on total rejection of the antagonist, who I might remind you, is a child just like the Skull Kid.

TMC is only cute on the surface. Look any deeper than that, and it’ll break your heart.

Bat: Oh man I really like the color scheme for this even if it is sparkle/scene-styled. I really like bright vivid colors like this actually. I'm glad you ended up getting attached to her - I can relate to that myself haha. GOSH her nose is literally the cutest though. I also love the little hearts in her hair and her little wings and everything! They all look so cute / adorable. Her design in general is just a delight to look at. C: I love it~

Amulet: Despite this being a chill image from you it looks HECKA nice. I FRICKING LOVE THE EYEBALL AMULET SO MUCH WOW? (Gosh I'm predictable I bet you're like "yep saw that coming" but LOL.) Holy snapper crackers like, that shade of blue looks so nice against that gray / I love how it matches her actual eyes. Lucia is really strikingly pretty honestly! Blue and that burgundy-purple-pink shade look marvelous together, and that little split in her teeth is really cute. I also love her character / that she's saving all the little cats. That's literally so precious. I love it so many. This turned out fantastic. C:

I really did not feel like doing much at all for this prompt… anyways this features my character Halisma. While he doesn’t look horribly imposing in his amulet form (which is just one of four forms he has), he is actually one of the four main antagonists of the Realm of Dreams storyline, and is the ultimate “end product” or “effect” of the events of the storyline (the “cause”).

Halisma is the strongest of the four antagonists, as he is a Celmdar - a being with quite a lot of power in the series. The other three antagonists are Kai-Nemesis (the one most spotlighted during the course of the storyline, as well as Inheim’s father), Kathana (the leader of the SSO, an organization that is the source of a lot of political corruption and “pulling the strings” behind the scenes so to speak), and Gell Shahn Keeah (a personal adversary to both Orcane and Lyricals/Cento, who are the main protagonists of the series).

To be honest I don’t really feel like explaining a whole lot about Halisma himself due to the fact that it be really spoilerish, which is also one reason why I’m only illustrating his idle / “asleep/inactive” / jewelry form.

HAHA I’M JUST KIDDING THERE ISN’T REALLY AN IMP PROMPT FOR THIS DRAWLLOWEEN CHALLENGE BUT THERE SHOULD BE BECAUSE I WANT AN EXCUSE TO DRAW MIDNA. YOU CAN’T STOP ME.

So yeah - this is Midna, the deuteragonist of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (or should I say it’s almost more like she’s the protagonist of The Legend of Midna: Twilight Princess and it’s Link who’s HER sidekick). She is also featured as one of the playable characters in Hyrule Warriors where she can go on a complete murderous rampage with HER HAIR and it’s great. Midna is one of my favorite Zelda characters as well as my favorite fighter in HW, and I gotta admit, I’m VERY happy HW didn’t forget about her Fused Shadow / Twilit Archnid form. I love that form of hers so much but it tends to get overshadowed by her other two. Also - the little shard she has is what allows Link to transform into his wolf form at will later on in the game.

This is also to make up slightly for the hilarity / simplicity / laziness I created that was the actual Drawlloween prompt for today, Amulet.

Mastiff is an Inquathan, just like most of the other monsters in this series.

I can’t exactly explain how this image fits in with his character as it’s spoilerish. You’re really just going to have to trust me on this one. Also his name isn’t random. There’s meaning to that too. B)
