I am reposting my original claim for my own ease and maybe yours too - IDK. It makes it easier for me to follow. I was wondering if you could do the dark version first and then I could decide on what type I want to have for the day version. I am sorry but I really just cannot decide.
I have one character who has two colors but the same personality. Think similar to these two items, with a day and night version.

Character Name/Ref: Auroa Auroral
Style: A combination of painted Quad (maybe idk yet)(day version) and painted floof for night version.
Personality/Pose Suggestion/Other Info: She is one person, one personality (not split) but can change color to suit her environment. She lives under the northern Aurora borealis and often blends in with those. She has a personality like Mulan in the scene where she is determined/slices off her hair to become a warrior and Rapunzel in the scene where she is free from her tower and is smelling the dirt/feeling the grass for the first time. It's a yummy combination of determination and curiosity-enjoyment. She's not overly flirty or sensual but is definitely a gorgeous siren. Also kind of like Black Widow in awesomeness... or Mystique.
She does not know being shy or reserved yet can be seen as stoic-thoughtful at times. She should not have a pout face though, she is not angry or sad.
Free / Square Canvas: Free Canvas for the day version. I want to use her as my main pet profile image. Can this one be larger as well in size as well as showing off her awesome tail/body for form? Thanks!

I added the information to a document with the pic examples I found as well as posting most of it here.
The black areas are actually fish scales, not fabric. The opalescent pearls are bioluminescing and are inlaid into the scales and are shaped like scales.
The neck/shoulder/arm pearls are removable and round. Daytime version of pearls: pale-white-pink-blues opalescent (less purple). Flecks are bioluminescing - they are there in the day time as well but blend in more because of the lightness of the coloring.
The tail on the day version is a white with shimmer (due to bioluminescing) that sparkles like opals, but mostly white.
The tail fades into the body which is covered in fish-like Merscales. The Merscales are light opalescent color, much like the HA.
The hair is the same design, with a braid on the side that opens into free flowing, like the light colored example for Day. Also the color is about the same as that wig example - just more white instead of yellow to match her tail. With flecks of color (from bioluminescing), also bring in flecks color to match the tail.
I could not find any really good examples of this so I will try my hardest to describe it. Basically the arms have side fins that are small-ish as they are not really used for balance. She has a few fins going up the tail like this and on her back like a dorsal fin (if that will show). I will try to find an art example of this (I found some and it is the second link).

Alright, sounds perfect - thank you so much! <3 It really takes the stress level down if I can do it that way. I'm feeling overly stressed right now and I just want to enjoy the process and enjoy things without as much stress. I think it is because I've recently been dealing with a pretty big loss so it's making things (like decision making) more difficult. Mostly because I am struggling with the idea of self-permanence and feelings of isolation and abandonment. So It makes making a decision very difficult for me. Does that make sense?

Yes, it is hard to see the bigger picture, but I am a big believer in certain school of philosophical thought, like why fret over the broken tea cup, it was always/already broken - etc. So I knew from the get go that this would happen it was just a matter of when. You know? So I am trying to see things in the bigger picture. I know that the person had an immensely positive impact in my life and I'll never forget them, but it doesn't erase the pain. Hello! I'd like to purchase a simple floof w/ USD. Are you comfortable drawing reptiles? I'd really like to have a chibi bearded dragon drawn if you could. Examples: 1 2 One similar to the first image with its tongue poking out would be perfect, and a leaf on its head. That coloration is fine as well. Please let me know if its too complex or not really fitting of your style or anything. :)

I've done both lizards & dinosaurs before, so reptiles aren't a problem! The whole job would be quite doable. (All your refs are so cute, too!) But I'm afraid the regular slots haven't reopened yet, so the only available slot at the moment is the last bribe slot. /: I was hoping to finish what I've got lined up before the new year so that I could make some solid examples to keep on the OP. If you are interested in the bribe slot then that's totally cool & I'll write you up, though if not I very much understand that, too.

Of course. ^_^ Yeah, the bribe slots are double the normal price, so a simple floof w/o extra detail would be $16. They're there as an alternative to the normal first-come-first-serve roster, as those tend to fill up quite quickly, and waiting times between openings can get a bit lengthy. ~
