Ha-ha, it's definitely hard to keep up with everything;;; Right now I'm rotating between listening to xaa-xaa's Mazarenai, DIMLIM's vanitas, and DEXCORE's Brain Washing (these guys seem to think that lyrics are a swearing contest, but the sound of the piano + pre-chorus + chorus does things to my heart) ;;; so good ; ; Also I got Rides In ReVellion's ARTERY & VEIN earlier this week and what can I say? Highly recommended~ (Mad Smile must be one of my new favourite songs D: )

:'D I just came across DIMLIM (dark, rock-y) & DEXCORE (core metal?); found xaa-xaa (quirky, doing their own thing, atmospheric/mood-y, rock-y, somewhat dark) last year - definitely worth checking out. RIR's sound is much lighter (think SINCREA, Royz, Versailles), but I think they're doing really well musically. ~ I could flood you with recommendations, but I won't, ha-ha;;; ~ Good luck looking around & catching up! Character Name/Ref: Aurora
Style: A combination of painted Quad (maybe idk yet)(day version) and painted floof for night version.
Personality/Pose Suggestion/Other Info: She is one person, one personality (not split) but can change color to suit her environment. She lives under the northern Aurora borealis and often blends in with those. She has a personality like Mulan in the scene where she is determined/slices off her hair to become a warrior and Rapunzel in the scene where she is free from her tower and is smelling the dirt/feeling the grass for the first time. It's a yummy combination of determination and curiosity-enjoyment. She's not overly flirty or sensual but is definitely a gorgeous siren. Also kind of like Black Widow in awesomeness... or Mystique.
She does not know being shy or reserved yet can be seen as stoic-thoughtful at times. She should not have a pout face though, she is not angry or sad.
Free / Square Canvas: Free Canvas for the day version. I want to use her as my main pet profile image. Can this one be larger as well in size as well as showing off her awesome tail/body for form? I would like the night version to be a custom overlay. I was wondering if I could get that one in a slightly bigger size too so it's not only the small size of the overlay? Thanks!

I added the information to a document with the pic examples I found as well as posting most of it here.
The black areas are actually fish scales, not fabric. The opalescent pearls are inlaid into the scales and are shaped like scales.
The neck/shoulder/arm pearls are removable and round. Daytime version of pearls: pale-white-pink-blues opalescent (less purple). Nighttime version of pearls: Black with flecks of Auroras - magenta-teal.
The tail on the day version is a white with shimmer that sparkles like opals,but mostly white. The tail on the dark version Should be deep sea teal with flecks of black night sky so it could blend in with the night sea.
The tail fades into the body which is covered in fish-like Merscales. The Merscales are light opalescent color, much like the HA. In the dark version they would get darker to match the fin but with color still.
The hair is the same design, with a braid on the side that opens into free flowing, like the light colored example for Day. Also the color is about the same as that wig example - just more white instead of yellow to match her tail. The Night version hair matches the pearls. With flecks of color, like the wig on the example - also bring in flecks color to match the tail.
I could not find any really good examples of this so I will try my hardest to describe it. Basically the arms have side fins that are small-ish as they are not really used for balance. She has a few fins going up the tail like this and on her back like a dorsal fin (if that will show). I will try to find an art example of this (I found some and it is the second link).

Simple Quad is a fullbody quad with one layer of shading; Painted Floof is basically a chibi, form-wise, but fully painted. Floofs also have a smaller canvas size than quad (400px vs. 600px default).
Human floof (newest to oldest): one two three / four
Also, hope you feel better soon! No rush with filling things in; doing things in relative chronological order means I won't get to your pieces right away anyway!
