Of course gurl. You can do it, believe in yourself :)
Ok, so I resketched it! And I found out what was wrong with my lines...I was technically using a hard brush, lol My version of PSE sucks monkey balls, and the hardness of the brush kept changing on me. I guess changing the settings on hardness also changes back with the undo button lol Makes no sense since it's a brush -_-
Anyways, I still need help with this wig:

So there are a lot of things wrong with it, even as a sketch. Can you help me get the flow of the hair as well as help with the curls because they look horrendous? Oh and my lines are heavily inconsistent because of the brush's hardness changing on me, so no worries on that :P
I'm not sure what are the differences between photoshop and photoshopElement, but it is possible you didn't lock the thing!
Go to Window > Brush and then right next to the 'shpe dynamics' there should be a little padlock - click on it. Otherwise the sensitivity is only confined to the brush you are currently using, not by default! (Sorry I clicked to read updates and saw that lol)
I know you didn't ping me to help but just gonna chime in with one thing!
On the right image the bit that comes over the chest is giving the impression of a body that is flat like cardboard because the hair falls straight down and over. The hair would be pushed forward by the shoulder and chest so there should be some sorta curve
It's on the opposite side but notice on the wig cathii is wearing right now how on the right side the piece that is over the chest curves forward more and more gradually as it goes down the chest until it reaches the max pushed-out-ness before falling straight
I don't have that option, but I was experimenting and I am able to check a box for "Keep these settings for all brushes" so hopefully that does the trick. Thank you ^-^
Hi! I just pinged the major artists I see doing wigs, haha. I can use all the help I can get!
And you say opposite side of the wig Cathii is wearing right now...do you actually mean the same (right) side?
In red is the portion of hair I'm interpreting from your post:

Nah, I really did mean the opposite side
The red area on the left is the bit I'm taking about which is hanging straight.
Because the left side has so much density in a straight line over the chest it gives the appearance almost of the wig not being the correct perspective. I will say though that the perspective doesn't look off the that image without the extra hair! So it's just that area~
So you're saying that hair should "fall" by leaning more towards the left? If yes, I see what you see. If no, I'm not understanding xD
But is the right side ok in terms of how the hair is flowing?
I believe that you are interpretting me correctly but just to ensure I'm saying like in this image how on the left side her hair is pushed forward and towards the left! Right side doesn't have much hanging over the chest but if you feel it hangs over it similarly then I'd base how the strand hangs on a similar concept. The strands from the bangs would be farther forward on the head though so they're less effected by the whole chest thing
Shakira! <3 Okie, yeah then I totally see what you mean. Thank you very much for pointing it out for me! I definitely didn't see how that was affecting the perspective when I was sketching, haha. All I could say for that portion was that it looked really off to me...and I just didn't know what to fix. This whole angled HA is a bit confusing :/
Her hair is fabulous And ye I feel you on the angled HA bit but I think a problem a lot of artists also have is feeling the depth of the HA! Judging by the bit you've draw on the head, you get the depth of the head but remember how hair falls (specifically long hair) is super influenced by your torso!
Keep it up! It's already looking nice~
