Yah :C
Well I hope so! Right now, I'm just trying to get a release in each general category, so I see what they accept/deny :P I'm still staying away from clothing/wigs hehehe
Awww thanks. PS makes it so easy to cheat though. Never could have made that on paper. I love me some gradient tool.
Mhm, mhm squishes multiply I lubs you
Aw yeaaah that is a great practice haha! YOU CAN DO THE SKIRT! waves pomoms
Even if it's denied, the staff critique can be helpful since they give out what area is wrong and you can work on that specifically :D
Pffffft hahaha, right? I was doing traditional one day, and I was like TIME TO CREATE NEW LAYERRRRR. OH NOEZ WHERE'S THE CMD + Z ;O;
Were my sketches easy to understand for your skirt? ;w;
@ Anastasia Ya ya ya. I /am/ making a corset in the near future, however :P If it's easy clothing, I will probably do. I just don't like complicate D;
Definitely! Bat I drew for friend was originally denied because lineart was too thin. I've seen lineart as thin as mine get accepted, but nope, apparently not for me. So I made thick as fudge and it gets accepted xD
Lolol. Thank goodness I only work with pastels anyhow. I don't have the patience to be an artist, unfortunately.
Yas. I viewed them one by one to see what you did, haha. I need to reset pen properties for pressure sensitivity to do some of the shading, since I set it to soft. My hand hurts too much if I turn pressure sensitivity on hahaha
EDIT:
I finished yesterday~
^color used to better show shading
^color I want to release, maybe
Gaaahhh I missed your ping ;w; BUT YAS LOOKS AMAZING YOU DID EET.
Yaaaay! Thanks love <3
What brush size with settings do you use though? Or did you erase to get some the exact lines you did? :O There were certain strokes I wanted to mimic, but couldn't get :C
I use default hard brush, no earasing. I do my lines quick to ensure they are straight. Line art t 5, shading sizes are changed depending on the areas.
Which strokes? It's hard to minic one style accurately, you'll have to practice xD But you'll most likely develope your own style along the way :)
Ahhh I see. That's probably why. I use PSE 6 or 7, I forget, but versions prior to 10 don't have the hard brush feature haha. It's why my clouds took forever. I had to use smudge & blur tool to get a hard brush effect lolol.
Can't recall and I don't have file open, lol. But I think it was on the thigh near the hand on the right side.
the default round brush is the hard brush, all versions have them. o: It's like, the most basic brush xD
Mine just says brush tool? xD Maybe it is the hard brush, idk. I never went through any of the tutorials hahahaha.
IT's it's round, and have a clear edge, then that's the brush :)
"hard brush" is unoffical name because it gives a solid line, unlike some other brushes which have blurry edges.
It has a clear edge when I zoom out. But I work super zoomed in, so I see all the edges and stray pixels haha.
o_0; What's your canvas size? [edit] If it has a clear edge, then it is the hard brush
500x1000 And I zoom in 200-300% cause I'm blind, and the edges are a bit pixel-y, but not when at 100%
Okay me too xD I never zoom in on lines tho o:
This are the brush differences because I suck at explaining LOL.
I have soft brush, definitely. I think it was Moondustdreams? that suggested I use hard brush for clouds, and she gave me all these links, and PSE 10+ had the option, but all versions before it didn't, haha.
Ohh really?! o: YEah MDD is really good with clouds haha!!!
Could you update your PS tho?
Yeeeep.
And the only option for me is to do the subscription thingy adobe has in place now, and I don't has that kind of monies :P
Voting for noir, wine, and blanc :)
