Yes ma'am :)
Aw darn really??? Those are indeed super expensive T_T
i love your dark colours! Your lighter ones could use more defined shading, it looks very sticker-like. But I definitely approve of Wine, that colour is insanely lovely ^-^

Thank you for your input!
And can I ask how to fix the sticker-likeness? Should I increase the opacity of my shading?
I also got this denial:
Your custom clothing Orb of the Enchantress was denied for the following reason(s): • ITEM: Sticker effect: flatness due to black lineart around the edges and colored or missing lineart inside
How would I rectify the item in question:

whispers im sorry i kinda fail at shading too i always ask because she's a real pro OTL

Indeed. Now, if my friend will send me an older version of ps, I'd be happy :P
pokes above You think you can help me with this sticker problem I have please?
Thanks nonetheless! Thought I'd ask since you mentioned sticker, and I'm still not sure what it means lolol
Kkkkkk that sounds like you just have to darken the lineart where the globe meets the base xD
Awww thank you hunnie lol. Your arts are coming along lovely tho!!!!
Really? -_- I could have had this accepted. Damn it all. Well now I know...you need lineart for every single aspect of your item, got it.
Thank you bby <3 smooches
The wig falls just fine on the head. Now the issue is that your strokes have absolutely no pressure besides being kinda stiff. Hair tends to be flow-y. As I also said to someone else, I'd recommend you to use CWs already on site and study the shape. You can also trace them for learning purposes only. (Because other than that, please, never trace art from anyone). After you understand the shape, you can then start doing it by yourself. :) Good luck!
Oh, I turn pressure sensitivity off while sketching because it hurts my hand :P But I know what you mean ^-^
I'll do some tracing for practice purposes...but do you recommend starting from the outside or inside? I'm sure you've developed your own style after awhile, but for someone new to wigs, which might be easier?
And thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to give me a response :*
Drawing without pressure makes no sense LOL you need pressure otherwise the strokes will always look stiff and shaky. Even when you use a pencil to draw you get pressure. Perhaps you just have to adjust it. Usually you have the option to make sensitivity higher, so you don't have to press too hard to make pressure work.
There's no inside or outside. You just sketch the whole wig and then start lining it LOL. Unless you are painting, then you have to add outter lineart first or afterwards. But otherwise you see the wig as a whole and there's no need to separate inside and outside.
Yeah, I'm still adjusting ^-^ I'll just use a bigger brush while turning the sensitivity on...might as well get used to it lol
Hmmm, ok. I just have a hard time differentiating my inner and outer strands. It takes me awhile to see which strands goes on top of what lol It just looks like a big blob of squigglies.
I haven't read previous comments so it's possible im duplicating something that was mentioned previously -- apologies if so!
I think you're trying to go too fast - to get the flow of the hair right, you should start by sketching, having lots of inlines even if most will disappear later on. As it is now, you tried to focus on the outline but you didn't take the curls into account, so they are harder to visualize once the outer shape is considered 'done'.
If anything, I find that it is easier to start with the core curls (for example in front of the chest, behind the back) and then build the rest of the hair around the central elements of your hair.
Here are a few examples ; sketch & lined sketch & lined sketch & lined
Imma back up on what Sonatine and Cathii had said. Normally when I do my wigs, I don't start from a certain outside or inside. I just sketch a lot and then decide if I like how it comes out or now. If not, I just keep adjusting the strands and so on. I would red line for you but I don't have my tablet with me RN.
Basically what everyone else said, make sure your sketch is solid before you start lining! What I actually like to do is very vaguely sketch the general shape I want, then block in the colour so the HA's head underneath the hair doesn't distract me, and then start defining the locks using the first sketch as a very rough guide. If you want I can do a quick sketching stream for you to give you an idea?
Lol, maybe I should've posted my messy sketch instead with the blob of indiscernible lines xD
Buuuut, you are right, I think I set myself up for failure by boxing myself in with the outer lines. It really deterred me from experimenting more within my sketch. So, thank you for the advice & sketches! I just didn't know where to start, really, so having a focus point as you said should help immensely ^-^
Thanks doll! Maybe you can red line for me later once I resketch this wig? C:
If you're still on to stream, I'd LOVE that! My sketches are so messy compared to everyone else's sketches...show me your secrets x)
Are you busy now? I can stream right now if you'd like c: I can show you finished sketches when I stream, too, I cba to save and upload them LOL
