Thanks for the change; it never occurred to me how much sense it would make. Good luck with doing it by hand. It's a shame there's no way we could help you with it.
brilliant change! i am always careful when i click, but also super paranoid that i misclick and lose a super rare plushie or beanbag XD

I am really happy for this change! Now the list isn't so long anymore when I want to add something to my collection, and I am sure other people (especially ones with even more pets!) appreciate this ❤️ Thanks for your hard work <3

I think this is a very useful change.
I haven't tried it yet but assume it will be more helpful in my shop? I usually choose to separate items by item type/item use when I handprice stuff (like pricing all clothes at once, all beanbags at once)... But it wasn't working right because of the beanbag/toy plushie/toy thing.
Actually it still doesn't work.
Choosing Item Use: Beanbag does nothing even though I have beanbags in my shop.
Item Use: Plushie works though!
Item Type: Beanbag works when "Item Use" doesn't?
There are also two Item Type: Plushie options at the very end of the list, under Themed Item.
The first Item Type: Plushie shows me all my plushies I think, then the second Item Type: Plushie only shows me one plushie (Field Ruffie Plushie)

you guys are amazing! Thank you! I never gave my pets' plushies to play with cause the plushies are just so cute. And I'm guessing my pets reduced them to shreds after one use. Never have understood that.

The shop sorting is super weird, I'll check with programmers to see if that's fixable. I know it's been funky for ages. We aren't done yet, though, many of them are listed as special or toy so we're fixing that at the same time.
I was actually just lamenting that now that my mom is moving, I'm going to have to actually deal with the trunk of investments beanie babies in her garage. I looked up my DREAM BEANIE, Trap, last night. Back in my day it was selling for $3,000, now a STEAL at only $55.

@blackwolf_2009 and are removing the "play with (pet)" options from plushies and beanbags so they will only be useful for collections in the future. There was a recent suggestion about keeping a list of toys your pet has played with, I'm not sure if that's why they're doing this but basically it keeps plushies and beanbags from being used for two collections that way. And because most people don't play with their pets anyway, and just collect plushies and beanbags, it prevents misclicks and it's a lot nicer to not have to scroll a long list of pets to get to the "Add to collection" button c:
