- Is there a way to write up a short macro to do it for you? That would save you literally hours of work. D:

does this mean... playing with toys... going to be a thing... hmmm?
We have a page for all the beanbags on site that have the toy option still active on it and the same with plushies. It makes it easier than how we were originally going to do it haha. It's unfortunate with the way they are programmed that we couldn't just do a line in the database to do like "any type of beanbag take off toy option" or whatever.
It does, but in the long run it's nice. All plushies/beanbags will have the proper item type after this instead of some as like 'special' or whatever. This way we might also find some good things to rerelease.
has to stay positive
This is brilliant, thank you! No more stress over misclicks. <3
I don't collect either, nor do I usually play with my pets, so it doesn't affect me. Beanbags are furniture, but a plushie definitely would be something to play with, wouldn't it?
We have done way worse omg. I was dreading this but it's actually not that bad! We got way further tonight than I expected. THE THINGS WE DO FOR YOU. <3
Thanks for all the hard work!
Ooo I like this change :D Power through it, you two!
Didn't you guys ever have Beanie Babies? YOU DON'T PLAY WITH THEM.
I don't see how you would have a misclick. There's always a confirmation box that comes up so there wouldn't be any of that. It's only an issue if you don't bother to read the pop up
Yes I did and do and as a kid I played with them all the time. I played with all my stuffed toys...bean filled or not. Heck, I even had a little wooden cow that I loved. I still do.

Excellent change - make less options on some of the most plentiful items, therefore less code for said items and in general...and in essence, cleaning up the programming some, right?
(or did I not make sense? My brain isn't braining too well right now. ;) :P )
Thank you for the hard work. Ah, the things we do for love of Subeta.
I like this change. I've never really understood the point in playing with plushies/beanbags as toys, and it's good for people who have accidentally used one this way in the past. :)
And can I just say, holy wow at doing this all manually. I've been searching beanbags and plushies one by one to add to my wishlist for ages now (cries a little inside over glitched Subetalodge checklists), so I feel both of your pain. Someone really needs to get each of you a nice massage once this is over. O.o Thank you for all the hard work!

I agree. Plushies/stuffed animals are like... the staple toy. It's bizarre to think of kids not playing with them?? They are a type of toy. I have several hundred of them
I'm cool with the change seeing as I never play with my pets... which makes me sound like a terrible person. But why care for them when I can pay the resort to do it for me. xD It does give more purpose to the other toy types floating around the site and it will make the plushie/beanbag menus a little less cluttered. ^^ Seeing as most people only collect them.
Thank you for the hard work! You gals are crazy!!
About the why and such for those discussing it: I think it has less to do with how an item is used in real life and more to do with ease of use here on site. Add me to the pile of people who consider plushies/beanie babies toys IRL, but here on site, I really don't play with anything with my pet. They are always in the resort & there is no page that documents what they've played with so it's a waste of an item in my eyes. If/when we do get a page to keep track of the toys our pet has used I will be bummed that plushies/beanbags can't be added (I'm not into the collections really), but it seems that this is a change most vocal users really wanted. Collections are the main use which already drives their prices, and this side use is just sort of an extra mess of links.
As for misclicks, they happen. Whether it's fat fingers on a phone, or the kid tapping away on the tablet you just put down, or a freak incident with a pet demanding affection, (am I the only one with a pushy cat intent on clicking for me?) shit happens. Not to mention your average airhead raiseshand that just plain clicks wrong half the time.
