Will be interested in seeing how this turns out. I'm hoping it will have good effects on the Book Nook so mid rarity books aren't ridiculous prices in user shops.

Hmm... not sure how I feel about the changes but it will be interesting to see them in action.

Senti That is unlikely to happen, just because someone could wishlist all of the rare / rarity 99 items on the site, it&;d take all of the "knowing" out of restocking.

Okay that actually makes a lot of sense. I won't complain about that anymore. :P I do agree that it would be nice to have some way of knowing if a plushie or beanbag is part of our collection though just by looking or hovering.

I'm not sure about this, what about those items with very rare rarity, if they won't be bought in a while they'll be rare even more...

The 3 days time to remove items is a good time, if it's not going to restock for another 7 days lol Actually, 2 days and 7 days to get back restocking is fine, too. But if it's like... 1 day or (worse!) 12 hours, please, low the 7 days, too. It's too much.

A clarification (even though this has stopped running) - The "purchase time" will only be for items that have been sitting in the shops and not been purchased, not rare items that only pop up once every few days :)

I think I like these changes. I like that it will balance prices over all and make Restocking worth it. AND THANK YOU for finding a smart way to hopefully not have the same exact items RSing constantly. More variety, less at a time sounds awesome. I am nervous about an item disappearing for 7 days. That's a long, long time. And yet, it might be good as far as overall. Worth seeing what happens. I'm curious how this will go! :)

I think these sounds like sensible changes and appreciate that y'all will be keeping an eye on things to make sure it balances out. Especially since the change some time back where items were showing up in order of release rather than alphabetical, it's really left those older items sitting gathering dust more often than not because everyone who restocks knows to mostly watch the end of the list. lol

So I'm optimistic about this. :)

Excellent work, these changes will definitely make it nicer when browsing the shops. Couldn't stand having to scroll through hundreds of items at once. xD

Like most others I am for "let's try and then see/judge".

I'm unsure about the rarity concept, if low rarity items are planned to appear less frequently?

P.S.: What about the item hovers in shop search?!?!!! They have become incredibly fundamental for me after having been introduced. I hope they are not being done away with, it is sooo tedious to look up price in shop search and also do an account search to get the item info - for every single item!

tbh I dislike this change, it&;ll make questing less profitable since items in user shops are most of the time more expensive

i figure so long as quest rewards will reflect items' rise in price, i won't mind these changes. otherwise questing is going to be much less desirable to do even if it's my main sp source (but i guess if it ends up costing more to quest than you're rewarded, it's bound to end the second it starts to spread across quest npcs).

I honestly liked the original restocking process, and I'm with most of everyone else when I say that I'm not sure about these changes.

But there are a few things I am concerned about... 1 - If shops are set to restock at a certain times every time, that will take away from a large part of restocking. You keep reloading the page about every couple of minutes to see if the shop's restocked (sometimes it takes 3 mins,4,5...), but if it is set to just restock every 4 minutes, everyone would just reload the page every 4 minutes. It takes away from the excitement of getting there before others and the mystery of when it's going to happen. (The Trash Can is an example.) 2 - Some items have much lower prices in user shops, so people may not by them in main shops for a while. Won't this cause them to be put on alert for retirement unnecessarily? 3 - Also, another problem with 2 is that it will cause price inflation in the user shops over common items. Those low prices are extremely convenient when buying large amounts of items for things like recycle beast, fragging, collections, and even quests. Raising the prices means less profit from quests and just getting less for your money. I for one definitely won't be restocking numerous items for 2k a piece for recycle points or crystals. Also, certain quests (like Cynthia's) won't really be worth doing anymore.
