One more thing (for now i guess i keep thinking of things), I don't think it matters how many things are sitting in shops. 20 items that cost 400sP in usershops sitting in an NPC shop aren't affecting the economy. They sit there. They don't move. They don't enter or leave the economy. They're not going to affect usershops' prices because those prices are set from vending, anyway.

Again, restocking and NPC shop items don't need to join the list of super difficult-or-imposible-to-acquire items this site has.

I'm also not liking these long restock times. I enjoyed being able to check in every few minutes, or clicking through a few shops, to see if anything interesting stocked. It's not fun at all to wait round 30min+ to try to restock anything good. I can see many people not wanting to wait around for the basic shops to restock. Unless you wana kill restocking, this doesn't seem like a good idea…

I also like HirYoshiMa's point about how having plenty of cheep items in shops is helpful to new users. I remember when I joined that I was so happy to be able to actually afford things I wanted, unlike other sites I'd been on.

Ok i am going to voice an unpopular opinion BUT maybe we should retire some vending machines? Not all. And restrict some of them? Idk but since up to 'normal' seems to be vended absolute...

This IS ridiculous. For me it has completely disabled restocking, for I really don't have the time and/or willpower to sit and stalk for valuable items. Hope it's a bad bug that gets resolved soon.

Couldn't agree more. That is a reason I left Neopets years ago. Restocking is not only my main source of income but I actually enjoy it. I stink at games, hate vending, dislike battling, but will do quests. So if I can't restock to make sp then what is the point.

I'm hoping staff is paying attention and takes our frustration to heart. Restockers should be as important as HA makers, Battlers, and other players. If you really want to kill restocking and this isn't a glitch then y'all are well on the way. But I will be one of those moving on...not even sure if events would be worth it anymore. Please be a glitch and then just fix it.

Wow, really hating this. My time on here is sporadic at best, and I am just way too busy to sit here waiting 2 or 3 hours at any point in the day to try to buy stuff. I think...I'm gonna hold out on buying more GA time until I see where this lands. I hope this isn't the intended change, autopricer isn't worth it if I have nothing to price :( and quests are gonna become a losing proposition in short order with not enough items getting into the system. Just my two cents o.o goes back to lurking and watching

WOW.... I spend most of my spare time away from the real world on Subeta stocking my shop. I am not able to do that now. Shops are taking 40+ minutes and over 2 hours to stock. I feel like every single shop is Subeautique with the constant refreshing. Then, if I do happen to catch a stock, there is nothing valuable there. I have not been able to find ONE Single Item in days :( Im extremely upset and this was the number one reason I left neopets. Ive spent a lot of real money in a very short time (enough to buy a car) and I cannot believe that now I am thinking about not even playing on here anymore. Im extremely upset. Its bad enough trying to stalk the subeautique, but all the other shops as well? I love this website but I will leave if I cant even stock my shop or find items for my galleries. Sorry but this is my opinion.

Yeah, I'm not enjoying this... restocking is what keeps me on this site once I've done all the quests. Nothing feels quite as good as nabbing a handful of expensive items for my shop :T

bring up a good point about the vending machines. The items being pumped into this game don't always come from main shops, so it seems kind of strange to "penalize" the people who use them by giving longer wait times. It would be nice if the staff would consider the removal of some vending machines. Maybe even removing some of the items in circulation from them? If I recall correctly, Subeta has retired cheaper items from the main shops before? To try and get their prices to bounce back to their original main shop prices. A cycle of items being temporarily retired might help with lessening the amount of items that stagnate in the main shops.

This just sucks. I don't want to wait forever for restocks, this is ridiculous. Might as well just stop having it as a feature, which is what I gather this site wants anyway.

Another thing is buying items to give the Recycle Beast. I hoard cheaper items for the beast and fragging. Then I buy items at least twice from the NPC shops. Once the first set of items needed are stocked and bought there is no chance of getting more. So if you're not on at midnight good luck getting many points.

Restocking is a vital part of the game. Items are needed for quests, the beast, fragging, wasteland minion feeds, and more. Surely we can't be expected to get all the items needed around the site from vending alone. I only vend about 150 times a day to work on the achievement. The items are basically worthless unless it is a plushie I don't have or a food not eaten.

I used to be able to restock in almost any store and make 2-3 million a day. Normally I have 8 or so shops open at a time.This included shops like coffee, carnival, etc. I can't remember the last time some of the shops were even worth loading. If we can't make sp there isn't a point to playing. We need reliable income to buy what interests us and things like ga medals and csc.

Restocking isn't the problem imo. The problem is the glut of vended & mystery items that drive down prices below those of NPC shops.

If this is how it's going to be, it would be fantastic if staff could confirm.

What is up with the restocking ... I so agree with everyone ONE HOUR is too long a wait and also why release new stuff and then make it impossible to buy. I hope one of the staff members takes a look at this thread and some others that are popping up regarding this wait time. I thought lag was bad but now there is a new bad! Waiting for the shops to restock!

At the preset this new system is not working in an acceptable manner. Subeautique needs less wait time also.

Go figure just as I get back into restocking they change the system and make it worse. I put in a bunch of sP for s discount card for npc shops for that reason and now im not going to have the time to restock because no one is going to sit at a screen for 3 hours just so they can be there for maybe 4 restocks... A lot of us are students and or have jobs; we have lives If im going to spend an hour on the site I want to actually feel like im doing or accomplishing something, not just waiting in another line of some sort.. staff please change this.

I don't think the problem was ever with people restocking but with people getting a bunch of stuff using wizard tokens .. so it feels like they're getting it for free and then they undercut the npc shops. The vending system needs to be changed.. maybe get rid of a few and of the machines or change up the items that you get from there.. maybe make one or two rare vending machines where they cost 10 or 20 a pop but they give you retired items .. that way you can get old book, plushies and food items back into circulation but at a reasonable rate?
