: Cardamon is wonderful whenever cinnamon is needed. I have a friend who is allergic to cinnamon but can use cardamon instead. Also, if a recipe calls for cinnamon, try using half cinnamon and half cardamon for a unique flavor. I don't think you could officially call a snickerdoodle cookie made with cardamon a real snickerdoodle, maybe you could call it a gigglediddle...just thinking out loud....
