I hate the thing also. In real life my hubby and I used to fish all the time and was very good at it but the places that should work dont in this game grrr lol

OK, I've been on Subeta a long long time now and I cannot ( for the life of me ) figure out the fishing game. How is it that all you folk ( Chook, Dr. Jeff, Mr. Cool, and others ) are all in the top 20 and I have never figured this thing out? IRL I love fishing! I dive in, I spear a fish, VIOLA! GRRR! Here we have to find the best fishing spot? The man says "You're getting closer, you're getting closer, you're getting closer, you suck!" I hate this game almost worse then I hate Crypts, or Decanter of Indecision.

I'm better now.

I am SO with you here! I find the Fishing Game so frustrating - along with Ice Fields and Crypts. I struggle to summon up the energy to keep trying!

: Thank you for validating me, games that are based on totally random choices drive me nuts because there is no skill involved. I did manage to beat the Ice Fields after my first 5 years of trying and it seems that there were fewer steps involved then there are for Crypts. But the fishing thing makes no sense. I'm sure there is a pattern, otherwise people would not have the high scores that they do.

I wonder why I play all those games and think they're fun? Ice Fields and Crypts are entirely random. I play these games to see what happens, since it really doesn't matter what I do. Even if I guess random at Fishing and Decanter I almost always get something worth more than the cost to play.

It's odd that you haven't gotten Fishing Expert, I don't remember that being much of a thing. Do you get "you were so close" ever as a result? That's the forty point result and is as close as you can get without winning as far as I can tell.

When you "win" the Fishing Game, you don't get any fish just a chunk of sP. The treasure is not any item, just the scrip.

I found some Morton and Basset cardamom at a tiny posh store near one of the fancier cities 'round here. It smells nice and strong and I'm tempted just to leave a teaspoon out at all times to use as air freshener. Imma going to try it on pancakes. It says on the vial that it's also good for meats, but I can't say I've ever seen it that way.

I agree, Fishing is a stupid game. I see no pattern to it at all. And don't get me started on Leviathan!!!
