Thanks for the heads up.It is just so darn cold here right now.It was going down to -36 and last night it was -30....no one wants to go out in this cold.I didn't even bother plugging the truck in the other day,it was too much bother.I just walked over to the home from my place.I read some scripture to the seniors and our Pastor did some stuff and i went home again for soup.So sorry to hear that about your ear and i hope it heals fast. I think i will just hold on to my cup of coffee...that old weasel better not come up here,it's probably too cold for them here ...right??

I had a wonderful holiday. I am a bit sad that all of the gifts I hid under many of your trees are still left unopened. Still, I'm excited at the prospect of all of you opening your presents. I am a bit nervous that everyone receives their gifts.

We ended up shoveling snow twice yesterday and had no power off and on for some of the day. It was an adventure to be sure. My father bought me a new car stereo which I am super excited about.

I hope you all had an equally excited holiday despite the little hangups that always seem to plague us through life and no that I wish you a joyous new year!

@blackwolf_2009 We have so much snow it's up to the top of our trash cans here in the pacific northwest. We've spent whole days moving snow. I'm actually living in a picture postcard. It's stunning. But boy hidey am I tired.

Sounds crazy! They were forecasting a bit of snow for our area on Christmas, but then the forecast changed and the snow never came. Snow is pretty much a rarity around I where I live. Once, a couple of years ago we had a huge snowstorm around February (I believe) where we had nearly 2 feet of snow which is insanely rare where I live. It was quite an adventure riding the bus that day and stepping out into knee-deep snow. Glad to hear your holiday was exciting and fun, despite all the snow.

I too am a bit nervous about whether or not everyone will receive their gifts when the trees finally open. It is sad that no one can see what's under their trees yet. Hopefully, they'll have it all sorted out by Monday or at least by New Year's at the latest.
