About this glitch in the news..

I hoard, therefore I can.

I'm trying to stay calm but to be honest the news post has me on edge. I dont have any stock events or anything like that but I did stuff presents under close to 300 trees. When I finished going over the list one last time, the estimated amount was well over 1,000,000,000. Sure I dipped into the bank every now and again but I didn't spend anywhere near that amount, of course.

"We estimate you've spent about 843,135,854 on presents this year!"

Todays estimate is much lower. It was a surprise to come online to find my inventory empty but I don't mind waiting. This doesn't sound like something they could have prepared for, it'll give my ear more time to heal so I can enjoy the unveiling.

BUT!

They better not have lost any of the gifts I sent because of this glitch. That is something that would seriously tick me off. I don't think I will ever know for sure, there's no way to find out that I can see, unless I'm expected to go down the gifts given list commenting hundreds of players to make sure they got their presents. And that's not gonna happen.

I noticed that too. Thought it was a bit strange for that event to occur in December, since it was supposed to be a Morostide thing. But hey I'm not complaining.

That's cool. I mostly just did presents & such with my family.

I guess one plus side to the trees not opening yet is that there's more time to give last minute gifts.

LOL, don't they have a Christmas machine? That was kind of weird to get a free spin on the Morostide machine, but hey, its a free rare item.

I believe they did at some point, not sure if it's still active. But yes free items are always nice!

.. it would be nice to also have a "gift open" notation with the gifts given wouldn't it?

Something, anything so I know they were received, ya know? If the glitch hadn't happened I wouldnt have given it a second thought but the thought of someone I care about getting only the little gift I gave everyone or worse yet, nothing at all horrifies me.

I know my group. None of y'all would say "The cupcake was great, but that's all I got" and I'm not going to go around pointing out how much I sent anyone either by asking "Hey, did yall get the gift, gift, gift and cupcake I sent?"
