Oh but I really enjoyed haggling! Just bought for 4300sP instead of 3655sP, that's quite a difference and it would be a huge difference for things from All That Glitters and other really expensive shops. But I'm a hoarder, heh. I guess this will help cure me of the hoarding habit, it won't be as much fun :D
Like many others, it seems, I am divided on this update. Super yay to easy collection adding! I loved that with wardrobe items from user shops, so glad to see that expanding! But no haggling = so much sadness. :( I'm another of those with calculator a permanent fixture while doing quests. Those little bits of sP add up, and I am also not a billionaire. Never have been. :(
First off the collection adding is awesome, thank you! I love how much you're listening to feedback.
I always did haggle in main shops (just quick mental subtraction of 10%) but I'm quite happy about this change honestly. My policy for questing was usually that I'd buy items from user shops over main shops as long as the user shop price isn't more than 5000 sP over the main shop, just because I don't want to deal with the haggle/captcha screen, especially when the site is slow. I value the time over the pennies saved.
Lowering main shop prices to compensate might be cool though. Especially the higher-priced ones.
but I am haggling :( always at least 200 sp per item... which is quite a lot when you buy 10000 items :p
I was going to complain because I always haggle but I will give it time and I'm sure I will get use to it. Thank you for all the improvements.
I always haggled. :(
Other than that.. awesome changes happening.
I'm kinda of.. on the fence, I hate doing the stupid codes and stuff as I buy a lot of stuff for restocking but I love saving money every SP counts is this another of your silly SP sinks.. cause I don't need sinks i'm poor.
you're awesome

So disappointing. I had such a system down when I would haggle. :( I can't believe that there are people who never used the haggle. Like, not even a little bit? Not even rounding down? They still have to type in a price. It's going to be so strange to not have that step when questing.
You really ought to put this on the front page, because folks doing their morning quests are gonna be really confused. And I'd say a proportion will be annoyed when they expect to haggle and end up paying full price, when the haggle would take it below the user shop price.
I round down by about 10% - I didn't realise I still had some leeway. Most of my npc shop purchases are during quests, apart from when I decide on a collection expansion.
Many thanks for the collection adding update! Adding a dozen beanbags yesterday was tedious, I can't imagine what it's like for larger piles.
(Edited at 7am because my phone doesn't allow me to use paragraphs.)
really like the shops thanks for doing this..sure makes it easy and way better iam for ever forgetting to vist some shops this just makes 100 better
THANK YOU! NHS... Think pink this October..
Why is the site hellbent on removing user choice in the name of convenience? This is now a double whammy for casual players, will the convenience also reflect as higher quest sp out? I am despairing as to how this convenient one click buy does to the FTC.
I would prefer if the "add item to X collection" thing only popped up when it wasn't already in there - it made shopping a lot faster when I was trying to fill up my wardrobe. I'm not sure if that's doable but think it would save a lot of people accidentally buying duplicate items, and would be more convenient.
Noooooo!!!! No more haggling with the shopkeepers?! That 15% made a big difference in bigger ticket items. Plus it was fun to see if you could do the math and still get the item before it sold out. BOOO! I am fully capable of putting items into my collections from my inventory on my own thank you. Not happy with this change at all.
I always haggle too. I would be FOR having shop prices dropped that 10-20% that we could get out of it.
I don't have anything to add to this, but I agree with the above statements.

Bleah. Hate this.
Let me add my voice to those who'll miss the haggle screen. Now it's another long-established part of the site culture that's been bulldozed away.
I really dislike this. Having to type the price in slowed down purchase of an item and gave everyone a chance, this is just fastest click wins. not having the speediest computer, this will kill restocking for me.
not liking the new shop layout either.
I always haggle! Even with my discount card in hand. Although if it means no more annoying codes then that's at least a plus. It's been nice not having them on every purchase and sometimes they wouldn't show up or would be something insane to comprehend. I guess overall good since it means less time wasted but a drop in prices would be nice since there are users who enjoyed the haggle.
