i think this is a really good call. reexamining the site is a great way to keep it appropriate and inoffensive to its global player base. thank you for taking the initiative.

If you're going to do this, don't forget to check descriptions. Items like the Purple Head Sash use "gypsy" in the description, but not the item name.

I always forget that there's anything racial about that word, but I do agree with this change.

I don't understand why that CW is exempt though. Shouldn't CWs still follow Subeta's standards for this sort of thing, especially if it's now being recognized as something offensive?

I have had my shop named that for 5 1/2 years. I can count on one hand how many people are offended by it, including you. The feedback I get from the shop name is generally good and it makes people laugh. It honestly makes me laugh every time I see the notification that "You have shop purchases in My Vagina".

If it offends you so much, don't buy from it. A vagina is not an offensive thing. Its part of the anatomy of the female body as well as vital to the female reproductive system as well as health.

I am personally not someone to censor things. I am blunt and tell it like it is however I try to be discerning when it comes to or if I am around kids. However, as this is a PG13 site and I have not been warned nor asked to remove the shop name, it won't be removed.

So I am sorry it offends you, I'm sorry you feel its inappropriate but its staying and if you wish to block me feel free. I won't be offended by it but you should know even if you do block me, my shop will show up for you during shop searches. :x

Thank you so much! This is wonderful. I was always uncomfortable with the slur being used but I thought people would think I was nuts if I said anything.

I really don't think you should allow it in CWs, either, though. A racial slur is a racial slur, and therefore shouldn't be anywhere on the site. I don't think you would allow more commonly known slurs in CW names, so there shouldn't be an exception for "gypsy" just because a lot of people don't know how offensive it is.

I'm very proud of the site for recognizing and changing this. :)

Keith, this is really great. Thank you so much. I know so many people that would be hugely uncomfortable w/ this as I personally always have been, but didnt want to get attacked if i pointed it out. This was always a big one that I was afraid would never get changed bc of the scope of the items, certainly it never would have on any other site. I am so so so incredibly happy to see this happening. This is the right move. I'm sooo glad I've stuck around this long, this just... is such a warm fuzzy moment =w=

..Ahhh political correctness......can you tell me where it ends......I know that you mean well..but there is always going to be someone offended by something,does that mean you are going to give warnings to everyone who get offended,by this that and the other thing....just lmk where it ends..if you can..... as it is I am scared to say boo on the forums because I got 2 warning for telling one joke who offended one person who than got her entire cult to complain.....will it turn into whom will report whom..was that dress not popular,and are there no longer gypsy's who live in the world.?
