372 - getting closer to the daily goal! This chapter will probably get changed so much in revision... I'm spending a good 2.5-3k words talking about clothing, lol!! This is what happens when a costumer writes a book and has to describe the fashion...

I had a "holy crap" moment when I was calculating my war total just now... I punched the numbers into my calculator and had to double-take because I hadn't realized I was up over 12k! I'm in shock!

If I didn't have work today (or tomorrow, for that matter), I'd totally start calling for wars because I'm so dang behind and have homework to do this weekend. @

Hopefully I'm not too tired to write this weekend because it's bad enough that I've only just hit my first thousand. Don't need to make it worse. LOL

Not really, I must admit! I keep getting behind due to headaches and prior commitments that leave me completely exhausted. :/

When writing in Danish I hardly have to think about it, as the comma rules are a part of my writing at this point... In English however we never really did any serious work on grammar like commas, because most students have to be pushed to even speak English, so English commas are really hard for me!

lol commas are the worst

I know I talk about this a lot, but I edit my mom's work... her first novel? Too many commas. The one I'm editing now? Not enough. xD It's interesting.

My girlfriend's writing is the same way. It's like after I told her she used them too often, she overcompensated and tries not to use them at all anymore XD Interesting stuff!

- I'm the queen of run-on sentences that actually make grammatical sense. I actually wrote a whole story in HS that was a run on sentence that was 4 pages long. My english professor was impressed that I managed to pull it off without him being able to find an actual stop or error in it! Commas are fun. :)

I find a lot of people over use commas because they are explained as a 'stop for breath' in a sentence, and so everyone just wants to put a comma wherever there's a natural break in the sentence where you want to take a breath.

Anyone up for a ? Desperately need that kind of kick-in-the-pants to get motivated to go back to my manuscript.

- awww I should, still need about 1500 words today to get back on track (I felt a bit nauseous on the plane rides :( so I only wrote about 1000 words) But I'm sitting here with family who I haven't seen in a while and I think i'll be too distracted.
