Ugh I feel like I have so much to do before I even contemplate editing... there's still about 3/4 of a novel left to write for me D:

And now that NaNo is over I feel like I should get some of these fanfic prompts out of my head before I explode! lol

I don't even wanna look at my novel after that paltry showing of 25k words. v.v I'm just going to tuck it away for a few...years...

- Yeah... same OTL well, more like 1/3 in my case I think. We should exchange and consult!

- 25k is still a fair show! That is still a lot of words! Be proud of that accomplishment, even if you aren't proud of the novel itself :P Maybe you'll go back to it eventually.

I would but this is book 3?? I feel like there would be a lot missing. Also I feel like I need to go through and edit for consistency/mortifyingly terrible writing patches on my own before I release this to the light of day. Even my girlfriend hasn't read it yet and she's my usual sounding board XD; Add in that I have a severe aversion to critique (thanks, college level art classes!) and I think I will... bow out... of the showing this to anyone at this point. Possibly until the rough draft is finished and I've had a chance to revise it at least once.

Reminds me... I need to print out, re-read, and highlight everything I need to re-write in the rough draft for book 1... and figure out where to insert about 20+ new scenes/chapter. Eeesh.

But first?? I'm going to write heartbreaking Persona 3 fanfic because I have a mighty need.

Oh maaaan... I still want to! But I've got this P3 short story ficlet all mapped and it's perfectly painfully heartbreaking and so it definitely comes first.

And then Jaxian! Plus the two Suikoden universe fics I was in the middle of. And a Suikoden modern-day AU ficlet. Aaaand... LOL I swear I take a month off from writing the prompts that come to mind and then I just sort of burst afterward.

Once I manage to go through at least the beginning piece of book 1, I might be willing to let someone else read it. I just worry the whole thing would be a huge let down?? I'm happy to offer my two cents (whatever they're actually worth!) on things though? :)

This is my AO3, by the way... dunno if there's anything you'd know the characters from, but it's fanfic I've written (and some collaboratively written with my girlfriend).

LOL thanks. I wrote my P3 ficlet that I posted last night in about an hour, by hand, on my commute home from work. I'm pretty pleased with it... so now I'm free to continue on to something else! Maybe some Jaxian. Maybe continue my multi-chapter Suikoden fic. I JUST DON'T KNOW the possibilities are endless!

Suikoden is kind of a miniscule fandom, but it's SUCH a good game series I can't even begin to properly express my love. But if you're reading my stuff even though you don't know the fandom... I mean, that's kind of a big thing XD; Thank you for being that interested??
