I came to Subeta after Neopets made me absolutely furious when they froze my account when premium accounts came out. I never expected to stick around on Subeta for long. I thought I'd lose interest and it would fade from my memory. I have taken long hiatuses and missed out on some good events, but I always remembered to come back to Subeta. I remember being so excited when H.As were introduced.

I was never overly social on here and so mainly just quested and saved for items I wanted. Then in 2009 I reconnected with one of my real life best friends from junior high/high school and found out she was also on Subeta. The site became so much more fun to me since I had a friend on Subeta .

Then a username I'd always wanted became free so I became The Ass that I am today and decided to try to make some friends. I started talking in the SB and instantly met and became friends with who has gone through a bazillion names changes since then. :P

I also met and made friends with so many other awesome people and now am a chatting SB regular.

One of my favorite parts of Subeta is my Kumos pack. They are my favorite pet and I'm trying like mad to get one of each color. I still have lots of work to do on their profiles though.

After 8 years on the site, I'm just excited for the new fun things that they have in store. (PLEASE make slots run like vending >_<)

I'm so glad you figured it all out. One of my favorite things is helping newbies find their way around here on Subeta and helping them out with wardrobe!

Well, I've been here for more than 8 years, so I remember times when it was a celebration when Subeta was working because it usually wasn't, the Longcat drama, the very first wearables, giveaways in the Donation Corner... well, a lot of things. And after all this time, I can say that the best things about Subeta is the community. I had friends here only at the beginning, then most of them left and I'm not the best when it comes to making new ones, moreover English isn't my native language, but I've never felt worse because of it and people seem to be generally helpful and easy-going. And my favourite feature? Probably wardrobe, my ultimate sP sinker, but I also love Mysterious Melody - OK, most of my MM were inactive or greedy, but the ones that weren't are the best people ever. And I totally loved what happened on recently during Battle of the Bands - I mean, when we didn't even know the finalists, not what happened later ;) - I had a lot of fun with my band and other people that I don't even know. Anyway, happy birthday to the site and its members! ...now, where are my rubber boots...?

Well, i've been here a little over 2 years now. I came here after searching for a similar site that could replace neopets. I love this site so much more because we have HA's. I LOVE wearables and making different outfits, trying to get the wardrobe achievements and collect as many items as i can. I get so excited when new items are released and thin that one day the cash shop will kill me lol. The people on here are for the most part incredible. The fun competitions and raffles and games, the help and support. I lost my 2 best subeta friends during that time as they quit. One used to exchange care packages with me and another was an editor who helped me with a novel im writing. Other users have also indly helped me with offers to tell me about the places they live etc. The people here are generous and kind, not only with their items but their time.

I've been a member for about three years now and I think the best part of Subeta is the community. So nice and helpful and just special. It feels like a family even though I'm not very active in the forums.

Thoughts about Subeta? I think its pretty much the greatest pet/avatar website on the interwebs. xD It's been quite a treat watching it grow and improve. My favorite feature is definitely the wardrobe and avatar system, but I love my pets almost just as much. :) I've made lots of wonderful friends here too! Which I find amazing because for my first few years on Subeta, I didn't venture to the forums at all. I'm glad I finally found the nerves to start posting and chatting here, because I never would have made so many great friends if I hadn't! SPEAKING OF WHICH Come join us, friends! Oh yes, and I must mention one of my favorite personal memories; becoming a zombie during Survival! Mwahaha! I am still a Naughty Nip zombie and do not ever plan on curing! Zombie4(un)life!

Ilvias, that is very kind of you to have this birthday give-away. I know you have your list of friends and hope they all join in this thread but am happy to have been called by my friends to join from the lair bears. I think they are one of the reasons I keep coming back but also it is this unique site. Subeta and the people that work to make it what it is actually listens to all that enjoy coming here and each one of us can affect a positive change. I plan on continuing to come here for more anniversary celebrations!

I've been here close to 3 years now and like some of the others I came from Neopets after my account was wrongfully frozen. My daughter found Subeta and invited me to try it out. I loved it from the first day I played! The thing I love most is the Avatar. I love being able to dress her up in so many different ways to suit my mood or go with the seasons or in something silly. All the wonderful wearables are amazing and I can be so creative here where I can't be in RL. I love the pets too. There are all amazing and I would love to get more and more of them. I have met and became friends with many wonderful people in my time here and I hope to make many more in the coming years because I think I will be around playing Subeta for a long time to come! @ Ilvias - Thank you for this amazing Birthday giveaway event! It is so dang fun to be able to hang with the mods and see how much they do listen and work with us on making this place amazing. Thank you so much for the giveaway opportunity :) Well with Subeta I'd have to say my current favorite thing is working on my pet treasure chests and gallery (I collect retired,holiday,plot,special items,etc) I've only been active for about 6 months now but I really enjoy Subeta and plan on being active for a long while.I love the pet art and the items,the art here is much better than the other sites I've played imo.The users are also incredibly helpful and friendly,I really like that.Thank you again for the giveaway :D

I love you hun, but I really like the friends and community on here. This is how Ambien is most social and met her best friends and Subeta is just a good way to relax.

Hmm, well. I signed up for Subeta because a friend kept complimenting the HA system and how great the site was. And it was pretty much instant love. ;u; (I've also brought a friend to Subeta, I wouldn't shut up about how great it was until she signed up.)

Beautiful pets and colors, lovely HAs, and the community is so creative and friendly and full of ideas! The staff keep things interesting (with new items, pet colors, events) and every time I've had a interaction with them they are so friendly.

I just really find this place calming and their is a good amount of things to do and it's all organized and, aah, I really love it.

Also I like spoiling my friends by sending them gifts. ;u;

How nice of you. My favorite thing about Subeta (off the top of my head) are the events. My favorite one (that I was a part of anyway) so far has been the Saheric Temple Plot. ^_^

On a side note, as it so happens, I joined Subeta on this exact day 5 years ago, so it is my Subeta anniversary, too! :D

It's true, there were always so many nice clothes to buy, I think I had my entire closet on that site by the end of it, it was always nice to hear comments from the other players complimenting your clothes I'm not too confident in my taste so it was nice to hear that people liked the items I posted, I made a few good friends on the site so it was sad to say goodbye to it all.

Since joining this site I've made new friends, it was hard at first because I'm a bit shy but everyone I've spoken to on here has been wonderful.
