I know in the beginning I was incredibly frustrated and confused but the user base here was friendly and helpful with all my questions. I've been on Subeta for over seven years. Through out my time on the internet I have joined many many avatar sites, and ended up leaving many many avatar sites. Subeta has been the only one I've stayed on constantly.

I drag friends from other sites, and , I talk about it in real life. My husband often asks me how my hoarder achievement is going, and really loved getting to eat a cake for the competition earlier this month. Even other aquaintances have asked me how Subeta is going or congratulate me on achievements because of the notifications that used to get pushed to facebook.

This is one reason why Subeta is pretty amazing, the people! I followed some of my friends from another site here and haven't left :) The friends I've made since then are just awesome, so <3 y'all! I like the events that they put on, Masq being my favorite because of all the fun wearables and cute plushies. I love the plushies, must collect all of them hehe.

I originally joined Subeta maybe around 2007, probably summer. I don't recall I ever even came to the forums back then and I only had one friend, she was so sweet I only wish I remembered her username so that I could look her up and see if she still plays. I think I left around 2009 because I was overwhelmed with schoolwork and then the account was inactive so it got purged. I joined again in the summer of 2013 and played for maybe a month, all I ever did was quest I also never even touched the forums and didn't have any friends and eventually I ended up just not coming online. I really started playing around Vesnali of this year, I actually came back and there were 3 days left (before they extended it). I started getting into the forums for the blue building and made some of the sweetest friends and I just keep making friends on here. I really love how sweet everyone is and that most players are older on this site.

I used to play Habbo hotel for over 10 years, since it was a year (or two) old and I had made some great friends on that site, but the game started deteriorating as the older crowd was either leaving or started to feel left out. The age range is not as as young as Neopets, because it is supposed to be 13+, but over the years they haven't been enforcing the age so people as young as 8 would be joining and engaging in inappropriate behavior. For those of you who don't know Habbo, your avatar is in a room and there is a whole lot more animation/movement from that. It's not quite as bad as IMVU, which I also played for a few years, but eventually the hotel had a 2-3 month long "mute" where you could only move around but not actually talk and it was because people were engaging in inappropriate behavior (aka cyber). Now I'm 25, so I talked with my friends about mature subjects, in an appropriate manner, but after that whole fiasco I just quit, that and I was hacked which I was sad about but eventually took it as a way out. That site is still up and running and actually going to be hitting it's 15th year very soon, but even though it has been up that long it has been deteriorating for a long while, I don't think it'll survive much past 15, it might still exist, but it won't be anything fun to play.

Subeta on the other hand has only improved with time. Again, I haven't been here much between the golden years of Subeta, but I definitely see the improvement in style and attitude on the site. And everyone here has always been so nice and people like to talk about anything and everything and it is generally more fun to play with a crowd of people that won't shame you for your age which I pretty much got from all the other sites. I am just glad to be part of this loving and giving community. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I joined Subeta 7 years ago. I don't even recall what site I had been on now, but I followed someone's referral link and signed up. For the first few years I was super active, since then it's been sporadic. I was gone for over a year this time, and just came back a couple of weeks ago. So much has changed! I mostly just RS and do quests now and buy things for my gallery.

Almost seven years for me (Oct 25) and I am so glad one of my friends convinced me to join on that day. Seems hard to believe that it's been almost seven years...everything here is fun! I'm an obsessive beanbag/sticker collector. Then I caught the same fever with Subeautique. I do love so many of the custom wearables but have not bought enough of them. I try and maintain a gold account at all times. I have some very lovely friends here - grateful for them! ❤ I love the art and creativity and the snappy and most of the time hilarious item descriptions. Glad to have such a hardworking staff! Thank you Staff and Subeta Team and Keith. Subeta is cozy and familiar and home away from home. I'm glad to be a part of this family! Thanks to all. ❤

This is a great idea for a giveaway! I joined Subeta a little over 3 years ago, and have been addicted ever since. Within my first week of joining I joined an awesome cult, Adult Subeta Players, where I met many wonderful people :D The life-long friendships I've made on here are easily my favorite thing about Subeta. My favorite hobby on Subeta is collecting wearables and dressing up my HA. I've come a long way with HA making, but to me the fun part is that there are still so many things to discover (such as layering different items to get a whole new look). In my opinion, the lag/502 errors are frustrating to deal with, but in the scheme of things it's a small price to have such a fun site to play on :)

I've been here about 7 1/2 years? Nearly. Minus a couple weeks. I don't honestly remember what brought me here. I was on another site that was actually fun when I first joined but then changed and now is geared towards little kids (when it was at first geared towards college age which was me when I joined!) But whatever, whoever it was that brought me here, I'm glad. For the first little while, I wasn't that active tho, busy with life and things. I did some selling of my art and whatnot, tried rping with some people, but nothing really panned out much until I joined a cult and was swiftly made admin, then I took over, then it changed and grew and it was great. The cult no longer is around now, a few years later, but since then, I've been able to sell art, do giveaways of my own, get into the cw market and make a lot of awesome friends.

I can't imagine ever leaving this site, it's too addicting. Even after giving birth and taking basic maternity leave (ha) I can't stay away now that I have more time! hehe.

Glad for this site, yep. It's got it's issues and glitches and downtime and problems, but I don't know any other site that has such a loyal following that when the site can go down and be down several times a day (esp when a new event rolls out)- that after all that, they flock back as soon as it's been restored and all is well again. Awesome. =D

So, thoughts about Subeta.

What attracted me to the site was the HAs. I thought dressing up an avatar was soooo awesome. I remember all of the chunky line art and setting up everything very carefully to trick the system into giving me extra layers. Those were the days! Was so happy when the wardrobe went through its first update!

What keeps me coming back now is actually training my pet and seeing all of the cool new item releases and of course the events. It's also nice to mellow out with some quests and I've recently rediscovered the fun of magic spindles.

And lastly the thing that really keeps me coming back is the Subeta community. I don't feel stifled by rules and I really enjoy chatting with people especially on the general creativity forums. I like seeing the cool crafty and artsy ideas that everyone has and helping them tweak their process. I've also found it a helpful place for myself when I need help with my own creativity. I've never had a bad experience and have only ever found happy and helpful people who want to make me better rather than bringing me down and that's why I continue to log in day after day. :)

Happy Birthday Subeta and thanks to you Ilvias for doing a fun and nice celebration for us all. You're exactly one of those reasons I keep coming back.

I love Subeta! I have been a member for two years now. I love the fact that the Subeta team cares about the users and make it possible for us to make a wearable for the site through the CW system!!! When I started Subeta I was looking what I could do. I made a pet that I called Samira and started to train her right away, in the hope to make lost of sP XD But it does cost me more then I get, because all of my boosters I can't sell, all the expencive weapons I had to buy etc. First I didn't like battling but now I love it!!!! 😍 I am a very active battler now but I love the fashion on Subeta as well veryyyyy much!!! ❤

I have met a lot of wonderful people on subeta. I talk to them and when I need help I can always ask them (or them ask me for any help when they need it). I love that about having friends, you can always talk to them and get and give gifts to show how much you love them!

The most rememberable moments on Subeta had to be, that Saggi gave me sooo much sP during his quests. I could spend so much sP! Woweeeee I love spending sP like there is no tomorrow XD

And I love the users on Subeta aswell. There are so many nice people who (like you!!!!!) make little events and great give aways. This and all the things above makes Subeta such a great site!!! Nice things to do and lovely people ❤ ❤ ❤

I'm sort of a newbie here. I'm coming up on my one year anniversary :D I absolutely loooove the events and am super psyched for Morosetide to come around again. It's so soon!! I also love the books and building up my pets' intelligence, battling, and the quests (especially Major Drills!).

I joined just under a year ago (late november last year) and it's been great fun! I found this site after another game I was playing shut down (it was a japanese fashion game) and so naturally I love collecting items for my wardrobe and playing around creating HAs. I also have really enjoyed all of the site events, it has meant that there's often something new to get excited about and it stops me getting bored all the new releases and updates from this one has been great and I can't wait to try Morostide.

After dealing with neopets customer care for 6 years I was shocked to find out that here tickets get answered in 2 hours and they actually listen to what you're saying and not just give you random computer generated answers, lol.
