I have been here 3.5 years, after I was silenced a second time on "that other place" and a friend whose main account "there" was frozen. I love that I could TALK with people here! I was welcomed by a really nice lady but she felt bad about the chats here, I guess it's one of those open ones? I don't know, I avoided it because it made her leave. I love this place! One of the first groups I joined was because I stumbled upon Laurie, who was the first person I spoke to here who used her own name, besides me : ) Later and I shared a forum and are a great group of people. Thanks for making my reality here my happy place. Thank you for this topic and for inviting me here.

I joined Subeta 6 months ago. I was looking for a pet site, because I wanted to be social and I was on Neopets previously. I found a website that reviewed pet sites, so I checked the sites out. Most of them didn't seem active or were geared towards kids. During the search, I came across Subeta. I checked it out, and it seemed like a good fit for me - decent user base, active, adult friendly, and the art is nice.

I tend to be very fickle with things and get bored easily. The fact I'm still on Subeta says a lot about how I feel about this website. I like most of the users here and the staff are responsive. My favorite thing is to interact with people in the SB and in forums. I also like to dress up my HA. I'm trying to do more with my pets, but it takes a lot of time, which I don't have much of.

The random bugs and errors are annoying, but it doesn't make me like Subeta less. I also don't like the battle system much. It's just a bunch of clicking without any thought put into it. Maybe I'm just spoiled with RPGs.

I'm really happy this site has been around for 10 years! I don't see myself leaving any time soon!

Been a member for over nine years here. wow thats a long time. Not been able to play here for three years now. Bad computer issues. My awesome son just fixed my problems for me. And can load every thing here at long last. Happy to get back to playing full time again..Am a grandma, and coughfs new great grandma. Love changing my Avatars wordrobe.

I've been around for 8+ years. I first found Subeta when looking for sites with interesting games. I wasn't much impressed with the games Subeta offered back then, but something kept me coming back. LOL I can't remember what it was since all the features that keep me here today didn't exist back then - the wardrobe, achievements and games. Been through so much drama and disasters - at some points I wasn't sure the site would survive them.

My first friend on the site was because I needed a friend to earn achievements. I don't know if its still a problem today, but back then you couldn't send people stuff, or stick stickers unless you had at least one friend so you could get the send dialogue box to open.

LOL I don't remember either, but love that people find my profile useful. I created it for my own use, of course, but its nice to know that the work I put into it benefits others :D too, makes it seem more worthwhile.

I came here almost 8 years ago with several friends from that other pet site; and (I still call you Critter). I think what kept me here was just wanting to support , a 16 year old kid trying to make this a success. I was just beginning to teach web design and found this site inspirational.

Thank you my friends for the ping! I appreciate it. It has been a great run for the website, I am sure. I have only been here for two years, but what an amazing two years it has been, seeing the website go through so many changes and upgrades, it is a real treat to watch.

Oh wow, I wish I had seen this sooner. I started playing Subeta about three years ago, but I wish I had found it years earlier. It's been quite a roller coaster ride getting it to where it is today and I love it. The community is the reason I stuck around. People are awesome and always helping each other and its not so cut throat like some other pet sites that I used to belong to. I love it because it is a community first and a pet site second.

i love the pets here and most everyone i have met so far has been super kind to me but ive only been on here about 2 weeks :D

As for favorite memories, I don't even remember what it was that brought me here all those years ago, but this is one of the few websites that I keep coming back to. I love the creativity of the staff and all of the fun events we get to enjoy. I enjoy seeing how the HA system has grown into such a fun feature to use. And now that I've finally started trying to be more active on the forums I love the community and getting to know some wonderful people.

been here for 2 years, love luminaire and the mysterious melody (love sending gifts), really liked making the friends I have here... glad to see Subeta reach its 10th year... hope it makes it to 20.

Gosh, I've been here for nearly 9 years! Member For 8 years, 10 months, 1 day I remember googling dragon pictures and came across Subeta's dragon (now rreign). I had to have one so I adopted him and named him Kwixis. Then I kinda forgot about the site for a short time, but someone else told me about it and so I went back and have been playing since! I now have 11 pets and my wardrobe is ginormous! (my fav part of the site ;) ) LOL Thanks for sharing with us! I sent you a little something to help with the funds. Would like to ping my wonderful group to join in the fun! They are a great bunch of people that I'm very fortunate to call friends :)

I've been with Subeta for 5 years, 5 months, 4 weeks and have had tons of fun. Well except for that gifting / giving / greedy tree during Pekaboo. Oh and have I mentioned the LAAAAGGGG, lol. Mostly great though :D Some of the games are SOO addictive and frustrating.

I've been with Subeta for 7 years, 3 months, 1 week, 5 days. Wonderful friends from another site told me about it. I am addicted to quests and achievements. I am a hoarder at heart and Subeta not only supports it but rewards it. Love you recycle beast and my gallery.

My favorite part of Subeta is actually more than one area. I love the vents and holidays, I love the wearables and avatar system, I really like the achievement system because I am a bit of an achievement whore hehe ^_^, and i love my pets dearly, even if they are just cute bits of coding. I cannot wait to see what Subeta will bring us in the coming years. If the progress that has been made in the past decade is any indication then us Subetans are in store for some awesomeness :).

Ahh, I don't remember how many years I've been coming here (or check because of mobile) but it's been over three I think. I did have a year long break but now I'm back! I haven't been too active chatting in the forums because I don't really know where to talk or what to talk about... It's becoming more and more alluring though, so maybe I'll dare jump in soon.nI've been pulled back here time and time again because of the addicting mixture of achievements, ohh the achievements, and because there's so much to do! The community's great too, so many kind people. One more important bit is that this site doesn't make it necessary to buy things with money and (most) things bought with CSC are really worth it. You can get by without it but people will still support the site by buying (I hope!).

I first joined Subeta at the suggestion of a family member and have since recruited another to the site. I love the humor in some of the item descriptions, the events where I get to interact with, and sometimes get to know other Subetans, and the way the staff cares about both the outside world and the Subeta users. I also enjoy the friendliness of the Subeta user community.

My personal favorite Subeta thing is books.
