I'm in my PJs in real life. I did some laundry...got one more load to wash. I found my hummingbird feeders yesterday and they've been soaking. I need to scrub them....

Dunno what else I'll do today, besides these lesson plans. I did my final 5th section of the philosophy assignment and turned that in yesterday. I have three final assignments to work on - the 5 sections of the philosophy to put together into one paper is one....then a final lesson plan (thank goodness she said I can just create the lesson plan from something I already taught!) and finishing up my PLP thing (portfolio type thing of my work and why I think it matches the teaching standards). ugh ugh and more ugh for all of them though.

OK. I cleaned out two drawers, Iz and I dusted and swept and I.. spot mopped.. the entire house, and I cleaned off the bench by the door that I asked Lily to clean last week. Filled TWO laundry baskets of her stuff from around the house. >.<

But I feel better about the state of the house and the world now :P I think I'm going to wash my feet and then take a bath.. and then a shower :P

I've got most of the lesson plan stuff done. For now. I need to add a few books and GELDS for them...but need to FIND books first. And I need to print it all off, but I'm waiting on my printer ink to be delivered. I found a 2 pack cheaper than the single I buy at walmart, so I'm giving that a try, as I felt like I ran out of ink VERY fast this past time I bought it.

I also went and put away all the winter things, and got out my Easter/Spring decorations. I seem to have lost a brick bunny ear (lego type brick peeps things lol) I am sure I'll find it somewhere at some point.

I also started beef tips in the crock pot....sort of? Like I found this recipe online that says thats what it is, but its beef stew meat...with onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth. I guess we'll see how it tastes at dinner.

Yeah cleaning can be overwhelming, but I do it almost every shift at work on the weekends! I get used to it, and am just thankful for the days that the trash isn't as heavy from food waste! (Also yes vacuuming over mopping, but we have tile floors in the work kitchen!)

I'm sure it was nice getting to it at the library, Mieke! Grats on the Black Heart Hollow item :D That's an achievement I don't do well with :D Lots of coconut on the pie, but I'm sure it was great Mieke!

Hi Beth!! I probably print way more stuff than I should, but it helps me keep organized and keep track of things, so yep. I waste a lot of ink. I'll be glad when I'm done with school assignments and don't have to use so much ink LOL

Did you read back a few pages Beth?? I have an interview with my current principal - an ACTUAL interview, not a fake one. And I'm like, pretty much guaranteed the job I feel - if I accept it. - I mean, I feel that if he is asking ME for an interview, rather than the other way around, he is going to offer me a position...don't you think? I just have to decide if I want that position, because my gut says its the kinder spot that is opening, as that teacher is retiring. To be honest. I am feeling that if he offers me the kinder spot, I will take it, even though I would prefer PreK...I am just so leery of going to a different school where I won't know anyone. That would be so much more to adjust to than switching to Kinder in a school I am already familiar with.

Ahhh that's so exciting! I bet he would! Sounds like you're leaning towards staying at a place where you're familiar? No matter where you go, I bet you'll do great :D

Yes I am leaning that way, now that reality is hitting me about it. I have been leaning the other way all this time, that I really wanted to be in PreK, no matter if it took me to a new school. But I guess now that its real - I am feeling more that I would be more comfortable among people I know than to change to where I don't know anyone at all. I have always been leery of that - but knew there wasn't a PreK spot at my school that would be available this year. I am still going to look (for the next week and half) to see if any PreK spots open up that I might apply for - but yeah. Right now I am leaning towards staying and taking the kinder spot - because I do know in 2-3 years a PreK spot SHOULD open at my school....

Yes! I'd definitely want to stay in a familiar place as well. I think it's a door that's open for ya should you want to go for it :D It shows your principal has a lot of faith in you as a teacher, so I'm proud of you for doing so well <3

I managed to vacuum and mop the flat today. Did that instead of working out! Mieke the cleaning HA is super cute and clearly works as cleaning motivation, I saw it before I did my cleaning :D

And hi Beth! It's true it sounds a bit like a Disney moment, haha. Cleaning is not that big of a deal once I get started, it's mostly the "UGH I DON'T WANNA" before getting started that gets to me, so I can see how having a habit of it at work would be helpful there :)

And definitely, Kat, changing schools is an enormous undertaking, and if you feel comfortable in your current workplace that's great - you never know if you'll get that again in the next one!

I managed to input my data and photographs into the third lesson plan. Now I am struggling to come up with assessments and reflection information for it. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea for this lesson plan. I'm going to make it work though - and see what she says. I have time to come up with something else if it doesn't work - IF I get this finished and ask her opinion. (the formal turn in the assignment area isn't open yet for some reason anyway!)

No more cleaning here other than laundry today. I even got it all folded/put away or hung up! Go me! I even moved Nathans pants and jacket, and my dress to the side so I will HOPEFULLY remember to take them to the dry cleaner, so they are all nice and clean and pressed to go to the wedding.

LOL I totally expected survival to be extended. It almost always is. Most events are. Because of the lag, the downtime, the errors...etc. So yeah. I guess I'll keep kissing for a few more days. I really have no more need of hearts, I now have over 6k and nothing to buy! so that means if you need something, let me know! I'll happily buy it for you! I can't help myself. My principal caught me at bus rider and asked if I was ready for my interview - I teased him of course I was, I was practicing my answers from the fake interview, so I'd answer smoothly - he teased back he'd have to get some new questions LOL

The bank lady emailed me and requested info on the homeowner's insurance policy, in addition to stuff I've already given her - so I'm going to drop that off this afternoon.... then hopefully hear back soon from her.

I see the site did not reset overnight. Wonder when he will manually do that. Either way....I'll finish up my quests from yesterday in the meantime I guess :P I was only down to Pete, so I still have Saggi, and Quentin to do, plus battle/drills. I've been saving my sP to get the cheapest plushie I need (37mil) so hopefully I can do that today, and do Sarah after. I'm very close.

I dropped off the homeowners info, and signed a bunch of application papers. Next step, underwriter approval. Then scheduling the appraisal (which she said should hopefully be next week - great thanks - right in the middle of my interview, plus afterschool hours activities I have to participate in - Thursday is OUT for sure, but can swing any other day depending on the time. (Thursday is PTO, and Mother Son Sneaker Ball plus the Job Fair if I decide to still go to it after my interview Wednesday - but the interveiw should be over and me home by 4, so that day is still ok. The lady at the bank did say if needed, Nathan could be the person home while the appraisal happens, but I'd rather be here myself if possible.

Eeeeks Kat, that's all happening so quick! It's good they're not dragging their feet, though!

It's just been a long day. I kind of hate my church job now.. though after I spent 20 minutes yelling with two of the people that I loveeeee there, that really helped and I felt a bit better.

Came home and made chocolate chocolate chip cookies (good job me, I had made them in december, rolled them and tossed them in the freezer.. fresh baked cookies in 10 minutes!) and then put fluff in the middle of two and let me tell you, my entire outlook on life is better now LOL

Yes. Its nice doing business with my bank hahaha I think it helps some that I have a really good credit score, am applying for a small loan, and had all the documentation already put together. Plus she said I looked good "on paper" so the underwriter shouldn't have any issues.

However, my walmart delivery driver just called and said walmart doesn't have my order? My ticket was placed on someone else's order along with THEIR order ?? uhhh??? So, now what? Last info I got was it was "delivered to my local walmart" - this lady was pinned in locust grove when it said my order was being delivered. but my local walmart is actually in griffin?? Maybe my thing is at the wrong walmart? How the heck would I find out???? She told t hem she didn't have a package for me, that my label was on someone else's package, and that they told her to call me and tell me?? WHY should that be her job? She's just the delivery driver. with two packages to deliver instead of the three she's supposed to have. Very weird. I want to check my griffin walmart but don't know how? Maybe I"ll just call them...

My friend can't do delivery because they always deliver to the wrong road LOL. Mine's worked well, but I don't do it often..

I filed this years on Thursday.. and today it's already in my bank account! (Of course, it was only $150.. and I had to pay $102 to get that :P But it's better than owing, which is what I thought was going to happen first!)

Yeah. I tried calling locust grove. They didn't answer. So I tried calling griffin. I got the operator on the line and she said I probably had to talk to locust grove sigh Do I have to go up to the freaking store to find out something? Rediculous. The stupid package has already been delayed, sitting at "your local walmart" for three days as it is!!

Thats absolutely crazy you still don't know anything about your 2024 return. At least this years is good and YAY for getting $ back, even if just a little.

I got an email from my college. I'm getting my refund....of a whopping $25. Well. At least it paid for the transcripts to be sent to the PSC ROFLMAO

[edit] Well. I am back from the locust grove walmart. No luck. They did not have my package either. Now I get to call the 800 # and ask for a refund. Yay. I tried to do it through the app, but the refund reasons were NOT compatible with my reason for needing a refund. EDIT: Ok 415pm. Just got off the phone with 1800 walmart for the SECOND time. Because the first time, I got the automated system. Who babbled to me a hundred things, none of which helped and then told me my printer ink was NOT eligible for a refund .... EXCUSE ME but I did not get my product, I want my money back. So I hung up. Tried calling the local griffin walmart. No answer. Called the 800 number again. Got the automated system again who insisted they had already helped me with my issue NO YOU FREAKING DID NOT I want to talk to a person!! I had to say that FOUR times to get a person. Who very quickly, once I explained the situation said "Oh! Your package was marked as delivered but you never got the product?" Yes, exactly. "Let me process that refund for you." Why thank you. Thats what I wanted.

Automated calling systems are the worst. I really struggled switching internet providers because the old one would NOT accept an e-mail cancellation and their stupid automatic call response system was useless. Spend an hour in the queue, get to talk to nobody. I only got results when I signed up for a callback and when the agent did call me they of course were not the person that could process my request but they could give me a number to call that was NOT the automatic system.

And yay you got the refund! FINALLY. Silly that they make you jump through hoops for that!

Also thanks Kat for the offer of extra Parlour items, I think I'm good - I also have a stockpile of thousands of hearts, and I have not gotten all items yet (have not invested in books / food / minions yet) but I think it'll be enough for that :D at the end of the event I started giving my candy hearts to Charity! Because similarly I felt I don't need more hearts but kissing is too much fun, so I got more than I need hah.

Tuesday was a looong day for me, I was super tired, just didn't get enough sleep, and when I left the office I left my phone there. Noticed on my way back and had to turn around, lost me about half an hour of just going back and forth, which is not the worst, if I only had noticed once I was home, it would have taken a lot longer! But I was grumpy about it for sure. And then Wednesday I was trying to focus on work and finished my work day late, because I really wanted to Finish A Thing (and I did! But it did take me past my working hours to do - which is also ok, I can write up extra hours). Now, Thursday morning, I am doing a training that is mandatory but also not relevant to what I currently do at my job, so I am having difficulty paying attention haha :D
