Why can't you play it? Because its a preorder? I never heard of it but that's not at all unusual for me. lol My son's the gamer. I play very simple games. I like puzzles and stuff. But way back when some like Elder Scrolls and Zelda were so beautiful I loved watching my son play them. He made it look easy but I know it wouldn't be for me. :)

Nothing is stopping me except my streaming schedule. I'm going to stop playing Before the Storm in favor of the latest Life is Strange game, though.

If I wanted to I could just play it right now and not stop until I finished.

If you like puzzles and games on the easier side you might enjoy the Life is Strange series. They're short and no real combat. The only sour spot of the ones I've played so far* is the random stealth section at the very end of the first game in the series. The games tend to involve you needing to solve a mystery and having powers.

If you don't mind a longer game, I would also suggest Disco Elysium. There's no combat. I would suggest going into it as blind as possible. MC has amnesia so you'll be figuring things out along with him.

Disco Elysium is one of my favorite games due to how dense the game is. I've played it 3 times so far and each time has felt different.

If you find a version that has the ability to get rid of monsters being able to kill you, Soma is also good. Short, puzzles, and a really engaging plot. I personally haven't played it off of safe mode yet. It's horror and the setting is spooky enough without things being able to kill me xD
