Hope you had a nice thanksgiving thursday. We don't celebrate thanksgiving here in europe so was a normal day for me and worked on friday.

One of my lovely co-workers swapped shifts with me and i was home early and now vacatuin time! Mickey here i come... well almost.. wednesday.

Yesterday i was angry at my instagram family as 2 so-called friends attacked me for no good reason. I make short videos of unpacking my advent calenders and never had any problems with it. Until yesterday.. i was so mad i was about to delete the who thing. They accused me for being no social and friendly as i am sharing those videos and then they can see what is in it when they want to unpack themselfs. I told them i always say if you don't wanna see it stop watching and scroll on.. boy did i get the haters on me.

I deleted them, posted a message that it is my account and i post what i want, don't wanna see it scroll allong or delete me as a friend i don't care.

Sheesh some people!

Thank you! We do and don't celebrate - the holiday paints a false image of history that I don't agree with, but we also participate in meals and family time. We have had a lovely time with our friends and family and I'm so grateful for that.

I'm so sorry you had a falling out with friends, that's always sad and it sounds like this was a frustrating experience!

Hello! How was your holiday?

what holiday? Thanksgiving? We don't celebrate it here in The Netherlands. Was a normal word day for me.

Oh that's right! Well I hope your normal day was a nice one! It was nice, we have spent a lot of time with friends and family this week and plenty of time decompressing and relaxing. It was all very needed.

This year has been a hard and heavy one that really took more out of me than I knew I had to give. It's been a blessing to have positive change as of late, and this week has been a huge gift for sure! We've been able to take the whole week off from work to vacation in our hometown and I feel a certain degree of refresh from it. I just started a new job a few weeks ago and went from running my own business and working a few hours at a time then a few hours off to working a normal full time schedule. I'm struggling with working eight hour days and this was a nice little break as I get used to this new normal.

- I'll admit, I also typically run all seasons in the winter. I just go incredibly slow if I even get the inkling I'm sliding around. This year I have to be even more careful because my new job is a 40 minute drive each way. I had to drive those crappy days since they didn't cancel school and I went 30mph the whole way on the interstate instead of the typical 65. I'm an over;y cautious driver but absolutely wish I had money for winter tires right now.

- Sounds very successful then! Were you able to spend it with family?

- I go through phases of being active, just depends whats going on IRL. I was on a hiatus for about 3 years before coming back a few months ago. Hoping to stick around for awhile though! That's really cool you work at the humane society! What is your position there if you don't mind me asking?

Emory - That was nice of your coworker to switch shifts so you could get out earlier. I'm sorry to read about your troubles with your "friends" although if I'm honest they don't sound like any friends i'd want. You have to just be true to yourself and don't give in to the haters. No matter what you do in life SOMEONE SOMEWHERE is going to have something negative to say. Just ignore them and do what makes YOU happy <3

A lot of the time a lack of chattyness from me is either linked to life being a lot or it's linked to me losing a lot of creative motivation which impacts how active I am on the site. I'm motivated atm to do quests because I want to make sure I can gift folks for Lumi, so that helps me get my booty back onsite and engage again!

I'm a Behavior and Welfare manager! So I implemented and manage an enrichment program, create classes that I then teach to staff and volunteers, address behavioral issues for any of the animals in our care, and in the new year I'll be responsible for teaching some classes to the public as well.

so sorry you had a falling out with you family/friends. the way they treated you is miserable and nasty....insane how people can change over one thing, not good.

: I love to drive but in the winter I hate to drive , my anxiety gets me crazy in the winter even to walk in the snow/ice. I hate it so much.

: it does not matter where you get your key board or even how much you spend on it, it will break and they make lemons in every kind and size at times.... which I seem to always get ... Grrrrrrr

: oh there are traffic back ups all over the place on every highway and every road way lately, some people are nuts, leave at the last minute or second, think they can drive fast enough to arrive, nutty if you ask me. I am just glad I don't drive very often in the winter as my anxiety acts up bad and makes it impossible to do much of anything.

Very much so! I love the Lumi season. My only worry is saving enough to spoil all my friends! Questing my butt off in hopes I can!

Yeah this is the time of year where I'm like "oh crap I've barely quested in months, I gotta GET GOING O_O" i usually spend all but like 2 mill of my sp at Lumi and then spend all year building it up again

I wish they would have had the CW sale sooner! I get that they want to let items stock up all year for the pawn shop and that black friday is a set date, but at least if the CW sale was on the front end it would help a bit. This year at least I have vouchers from my subscription so I can grab a few items that I hope will be releasing. But it's extra hard when the sales that you want to get stuff for yourself during are stacked back-to-back with Lumi! I'm super low on funds and need to put the pedal to the metal to make up what I need for presents!

**MJy keyboard is broken. Everytimje I hit the "m" key it prints a "J" at the samje timje. Hubby has tried to fix it but to no avail. He's going to try once again tonight to fix it and then he's going to get me a different keyboard. Please excuse all the extra "Js" in mjy post. (Do you have any idea how many "Ms" there are in the English language? A lot. XD

- There is no way I could have gotten mjy guys away from the table once they started to chow down. Not for a walk, not even for an emergency. I would have loved to go ffor a walk but with no one to guide mje it would be a bit of an adventure for mje. 😆

- I'm the same way! I lose motivation on here especially when a new video game comes out that takes up a good chunk of my time for a few months (just beat Outer Worlds 2!) I'm attempting to complete my plushie/beanbag collections and have slowly started collecting minions but not avidly yet. Plus after work I just want to veg out on my bed and watch my shows lol However, I'm excited to spoil people for lumi this year since I missed the past two years. Signed up for two secret santa's so far plus whoever is active on here I'll be getting at least something for. I have a good chunk of sp to work with which makes it easier.

- I'm a very cautious driver and pretty much always drive because riding with people when I don't have control over the vehicle gives me bad anxiety and I turn into a passenger driver lol

- I go to my sisters house and she does all of the cooking. I'm not a cook even at my house lol my hubby does the cooking. There are maybe 5 things I cook and they're pretty simple (husband says they're very tasty though). My sister was always the cooking one growing up. She does well baking too. I just threw her some money to help with the expenses then go fill my face and hang out with her, her husband, my dad, my husband and my two kids. My mom passed away a few years ago otherwise she'd be there too. It's hard around the holidays with her gone.
