- There has to be something, some goal or prize, that makes people work. Even if it is only the goal of paying the rent although I think going to Disney Paris is a very work-worthy prize/goal. :) I loved festive holidays like that, too. the only holiday I didn't work was Halloween. I enjoyed it with the kids too much to work it. Then again, I had no amount of people willing to work my HHalloween while I worked their Christmas. :D

We used to have our friend Joe birdsit but he's been dating a girl and now is married to her so he doesn't have the time.

Edit: He would come over and stay with them for a little bit once or twice a day. Both to give them company and make sure they had fresh food and water.

- I'm glad things are going well for you. :) I'm doing ok. Had a doc appointment on Wednesday where she increased my gout medicine in order tobring my uric acid levels down more. I hope it helps because I'm sick of the gout. XD

I haven't been doing Mysterious Melody this year due to not being that active on the site so I didn't notice. I really like to pamper people when I do it.

And Brian just agreed to another family gathering when we're at mom's. I have been feeling like I'm not in control of my life, so that sent off a panic attack.

- I think it's time to sit down with Brian and talk to him about the gatherings, etc. he's agreeing to without talking to you first. He should be thinking of you but for some reason he's not. Maybe he wants a gathering because an Uncle will bring his favvorite Christmas cookies? There's got to be a reason he's doing it. :/

- So, they fixed the problem where people would put in junk and get expensive gifts in return? It just irritated me that I would put a thoughtful gift in and get someone's junk in return. XD

It's his belief that we have to because they're family.

Plus a year or more ago Mom (along with a few other people) helped us get a new car. So he also thinks we need to visit and do what she wants because she says so.

But, yeah, he should be talking with me first.

Instead he agrees and immediately starts complaining as if it couldn't be avoided.

Its almost 2am and I finished baking cookies and then I sat here trying to gift everyone's trees. I think I have everyone that has been active on this page. I gotta check to make sure.... I should be going to bed soon. I gotta go pick up hubby this afternoon whenever he is done with work. Gotta get up and clean the house before I go get him, just to make sure everything looks good before he comes home. Also have some laundry to do. Ugh it never ends..... I need to ask Santa for a 2nd of me, So I can get more done lol

YeranceK, you were going to bed and I woke up. Fell asleep about 10pm. Woke up once about 11:30 and then again around 1:30am and have not been able to fall asleep. At 5am I just got up.

Have a lot to do today to prep for Wednesday and Thursday. Even with a very small holiday I have a lot to do. It all falls on me to do everything now and I am the least organized of us and my head is extra scattered.

u have to work on Christmas? Remind me what u do? I hate to see anyone have to work on Christmas. But sadly I now Hospitals are 1 of the main establishments that cant take a holiday. My daughter is a Phlebotomist and she is working Christmas Eve but they r closed Christmas day. Her boss is always saying "patient care doesnt take a break/holiday) Which is very true..... but it doesnt make my daughter any happier lol

Im around doing my dailies and trying to get my chores done before I have to leave to go get hubby from work. 2hr drive to and 2hrs back... So it takes up a lot of my day....

- Those reasons are a fine, in fact, they're even understandable. BUT, no matter the reasoning, he should have at least given you a heads'up before he agreed to it. Don't feel bad, my hubby does the same thing with me. He says he does it because he already knows what I'm going to say. I tell him I'm female, not even I know what I'm going to say. :P 😂

-Maybe I'll give it a try, then. :) I'm hooked on one thing, though. The new tree gallery where you can search your shop and vault for things that total strangers want that you have. I've gone through pages of the results emptying my vault and shop into unsuspecting people's trees. No, I didn't give them junk. I love the wishlist searchoption. Stuff that has been languishing in my shop/vault are finally finding homes with people who actually want them. Whoooooop! :D

i am a nurse in a nursing home. I don't mind working with christmas, just going to make it a festive and fun day.

ohh... that sounds cool though, have not done that yet. Maybe i will do it to. I only join a secret melody when i have the time, day off and the fun for it. But when i joining i get good stuff back even wishlist stuff.

- It is fun, isn't it. It's addicting. I sat here and stuffed trees with it for 3 hours yesterday. It was like, one moment it was 5pm, the next it was 8 and all I did was stuff trees in the gallery. XD XD

I've got a lot of snow fairies available, also, if anyone needs them for the achievement. Just comment me and I'll send them over.
