I was just always so, so scared to take meds because any time I start any new meds, I get horrific side effects, and I have a family history of some not great reactions to certain psych meds, so it took a while to get up the courage to do it, but they're working well so far so I'm really glad I did. ❤

Oh man, yeah, it's totally possible hubby needs a med change. Psych meds in particular are notorious for working very differently in different people so it's possible there's a different one out there that might be more helpful. That said, I totally understand his hesitation. It's kind of a devil you know situation - it works well enough for him so the thought of changing to something that could help but could also be worse is scarier than just dealing with what he's used to. My sympathies, truly. ❤

And as a mom, you are 100% doctor, nurse, therapist, butler, chauffeur, chef, personal assistant, and everything in between! My hats off to you, truly. I could never do what you moms do!

Been a busy tuesday for me. Slept in, i needed it. Hairdresser appointment at 1pm left home at 12:30pm , got home at 1:55pm and left 10 minutes later for the christmas market work organized to pick up our christmas gifts. At the market we got tokens and those we could exchange for items, i got shower stuff, hand creme and hand soap. Then after 30 minutes off to work for a swingshift. It's now almost 10:45 pm, 30 minutes to go and i am tired!!!!!!

Well, all my Christmas shopping is done and some of it is wrapped. My son said that the gifts look like I wrapped them. Booger. Someday he's going to dodge the wrong way and I'll actually get to tickle him for being insubordinate. 😂 😂

- Side effects scare the bejebus out of me, too. I love the commercials on tv that want you to try some new med for some thing you may not even have. Then they list the side effects and one is death. Yeah, let me get in on that gravy train right now! XD XD I'm glad yours are working. hugs :D

OMG RIGHT?? I'm in Canada so we don't get NEARLY as many pharma commercials as the US does so anytime I watch something on an American network and there are like 10 pharma commercials in a 2 minute break it blows my mind, and they're all the same formula of smiling, happy-go-lucky person living their best life, taking some med named brelixtruvy or some other stupid thing for god knows what (because half the time they don't tell you, it's just like ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT nutrixity today!!!!!!!) and then the fine print is like "side effects may include nausea, headache, insomnia, explosive diarrhea, seizure, coma, DEATH!!!!!! It's so wild to me!!

All those mentioned on the commercials, they give u 10+ more things wrong with u just to try and cure what is wrong with u..... and most of the time it doesnt do much for the original thing wrong with u!!! and yerancek - I asked my doc about those commercials and she said to just ignore them because they were stuff that little to no one actually had. That the pharma were just trying to fdrum up customers because Americans are so paranoid about their health care. That made me feel wonderful. 😂

I woke up early this morning with bad acid reflux. Took a few hours for things to calm down enough that I could actually sleep. Now I'm tired and fighting the urge to get things done today.

Probably won't eat solid foods today as...yeah...this morning was bad xD

i was tired when work was almost done. Once home after a cold bike ride i was wide awake... lol Went to bed late, woke up late and had another swingshift. Today and tomorrow i am off, been a bit of a couch potato most of the day, i did some chores but other ten that not much.

- Working Christmas isn't bad. I almost always did because of the extra money I could make. Are you making any extra pay for working Christmas? I take it you're still not recovered from your trip to Disney Paris? Sometimes I think I need a vacation from the vacation. LOL :D

holidays are always extra pay, and i love the christmas spirit at work. Residents get visitors, we dress up a bit, we dress the residents up, as staff we have a christmas lunch (we have to do it ourselfs but we don't mind) and it's just cozy and festive.

I always need a vacation after one lol! But work is needed to go on vacation and spend money...

Im around off and on.... Just finished dealing with a scammer on TikTok. Rolls eyes Gotta love it. I love those sites but there r always people who try to ruin it for everyone else. Thankfully Im not as dumb as I seem LoL ;) Off to do my dailies since that took up most of my morning.... Toodles....

- That's one reason I loved working holidays, too. It was always festive and everyone would bring in treats to share. the nurse's report room was always full of pot-luck type dishes that were so yummy. Sometimes we would make up plates and sneak them to some of the patients who didn't have visitors to cheer them up a bit. :) That is the only thing that sucks about vacations, you need to work to pay for them. 😂

- That is why I don't have a tick-tock account, an instagram account, and don't go on FB much anymore. You can't believe half of what you see. Ok, maybe 2/3 of what you see is fake. o.o Just, no thank you. :D

Depending on how hectic the next week or so is, this might be the latest chapter of the year. I'm going to mom's for New Year's with five birds.

I don't want to go as last year as it was hell traveling with the birds. But Brian offered to visit before she asked and I couldn't stop him from doing something stupid.

This year: It'll be fine.

Hopefully nothing goes too wrong and I'm panicking for no reason. The cockatiels have to be kept separated (minus traveling which can't be helped) as Dany loves Jorah but bites him if he doesn't act in exactly the way she wants him to. When we're home we rotate who is out and I only let them out together if I'm in the room. On the plus side she has grown extremely protective of him to the point she will land on and fly around me if I pick him up.

We had a very foggy and dark day here today :(
