Yesterday was my first day joining a pool since the visible WL update, and I have to say I don't love the way it played out. My WL's kind of a mess of TC ideas on various themes, so there's quite a bit of lower value stuff on there and most of it isn't a priority. I got 3 copies of a 90k item and 2 copies of a 150k item that were on there in some old categories I haven't sorted through in ages. Not to make it too much about value, but that compounded with the repetition is pretty disappointing, and I was looking forward to Melody's move toward big spending if nothing else.

Before the WL update, part of the fun was seeing the variety of gifts. Now, if the ones randomly selected to show up from mine are cheap, it makes them an obvious choice to buy, encourages duplicates, and magnets them over to me in place of other things. Maybe being able to deactivate certain WL categories could help?

plus side: there was only one item that was in the pool more than once - a book that was in there three times. plus side 2: I only got one of the duplicated items instead of all of them this time

downside: someone put in actual junk. like, 2k sp items that had a trash theme (like dirty socks), which honestly, even if it was a joke, it wasn't a funny joke. I didn't get any of those items but I feel bad for whoever did.

I sincerely hope that we will still be trying to improve MM next year. It still needs work in many smaller ways that make it less exciting than I think we all want it to be both functionally and graphically.

The wislist issues are my biggest problem. I do not disagree with people who say we should be grateful for whatever we get nor do I disagree with people who feel forgotten or poorly considered because of what they received. Both are right. It may not fix the issue entirely but I would greatly appreciate a way to keep specific wishlists from being considered. Over this holiday I have seen more than a few people who have public wishlists of things they already own. I assume this is so people know know not to buy those items. Because while surprises can be nice some are not so nice. I too have wishlists that I do not want anyone shopping from and while most are private I do change that from time to time based on which threads I join and how much I want those items at the moment. If we can remove or block some of our wishlists from being considered during MM it would really help. Some of us who enjoy the complete mess that MM can be at times might actually prefer none of their wishlist were considered. Overall I don't care for the wishlist peek but I won't be upset if it stays as long as we have some control over the wishlists considered and the items shown are completely different for each person seeing them. Also I know there are some people who have almost nothing on their wishlists publicly at all. What then? What happens when they fall through the algorithm? And how does that impact the others in the group?

As many other have said the dupes are an issue. Because there are some items I do want multiples of I'm not sure how much of an issue, but I really hope my group was desperate for Colossus Potions because there were 6 between the other three people I was paired with today. There is an area that shows the types of item being added which is sort of nice but it also creates problems because it show all the types without combining any. So the Colossus Potion shows as a wearable and a booster item. I know we don't all shop the same or have the same expectations but I like think that a variety has a greater chance of pleasing a broader audience. So I try to buy types of items that are not as represented and wearables because almost everyone likes those. Currency would also be nice but we don't have bulk versions of every currency so that isn't really that nice. (This is a request for possible new event items) Oh and currency doesn't show up as an item type and some items like the Subeautique Invitation which shows up as a book while usable as that type it isn't how most of us use the item. Could we please see the item types combined where it is applicable please and add currency as a type?

Also if the reminder to join MM on days we don't shows up in our events tab please remove it or at least make it optional. I have too many events already and do not want any more. There are some events I save because I want a reminder but because there isn't a way to remove more than one event without deleting them all. Well that is an issue for another thread and hopefully not one that will follow us to the new site.

Overall this has been very enjoyable for me not because it worked perfectly but because I love seeing us work together to make Subeta better. Thank you and team for all you have done this year to improve and move Subeta. I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday and have a good New Year.

2x3 cheapest boosters from my WL. 1 made it to someone else. Very o.k. for me - it's just like in a poor family you only find some of the long and much needed items under the tree, lol. Lacks some surprise, but it's fine. 1 book twice in the pool.

Melody bought something from my shop again, this time at the regular price. Yet I only got the event/link from the Kumos site (is that related to her?) - which does not lead to the Sales History, only to the public viewing. Neither does it have a page to collect profits?

I agree with most everyone, that the WL peek need reconsidering - wether it be removed again, definitely should exclude hidden categories, better circulation upon refreshing - and please put the info at the bottom or make it stay closed, once closed! Definitely many thanks for taking time and effort to include a new MM for us in spite of having to rebuild the whole site!!!!

I took a break from MM after the WL peek was added, decided to try again yesterday to see if things had developed. Sadly, I got mainly duplicates again, with 3x of the same WL wearable and book respectively. I didn’t put in any WL items for the others, which turned out lucky as looking at the item pool, there would’ve been duplicates.

As I wrote many days ago, I’d support removing the WL peek entirely.

Uh, adding items stopped working for me today? Or maybe it's checking what I contributed. "Your Contributed Items" section has a black square and when I click it, I'm getting "You haven't contributed any items yet" message and my contributions go back to 0.

Glad to know that i contributed 5 long black boxes, hope whoever gets them enjoys them! (i'm being cheeky, only being playful) But yea this is how it's looking currently for me. :)

I only see 2 of the 3 user wishlists participating.

I didn't sign up last night because I wasn't sure I would have time to add items today. Just now when I went to sign up I was already in a group. Not sure how that happened but it might explain some people not giving anything if they didn't realize they had been added to a group.

Also the layout is looking much better today! :) Though the icons for the people seem to be floating over the wishlist item names I can still copy and paste the item name.

I also only see black long fields instead of my items... If I click on them - even though it doesn't look as if it were an action field - it removes the item.

I hit control+F to see the blacked out items and know what I've gift today. In case it's useful for anyone.

I am unable to add any items today. There is just a black bar over the items that I have gifted and when I click on it there is nothing there.

Edit: I also got 4 of the exact same items when the reset happened.

Melody seems to have eaten the items I put in today. When I clicked the black bars after submitting, there was nothing and then when I returned to the page to see if it had just been glitching, it said I hadn't contributed anything. Edit: They're back in my inventory after a few refreshes so not eaten permanently I guess. That's good!

Two days in a row I've had this so figured I'd mention it.

The wishlist peek has shown me today and yesterday:

Member A: Three items 100k-500k sp Member B: Three items 100k-500k sp Member C: One item, a CW, being shown as 150k but when I search it on shops (because the Kumos preview doesnt specify that it's not in sp), I find out it's 150k CSC

So I can't even buy a wishlist peek option for the third person, because the peek is only giving me the one CW and no other items (and I highly doubt that only item both of these people had on wishlists was a single 150k CSC CW), and isn't changing through the day.
