I got 3 wishlist items from yesterday, as well as one food item my pet hadn’t eaten, so that was definitely a win for me. I did notice the pool had 3 of the same 2 items again, though. So I hope one person didn’t get all those dupes. I’ve personally stopped putting in wishlist items in case multiple people are.

Overall, it’s been fun to have this again this year and I appreciate it’s being actively worked on.

So after yesterday's experience...I can definitely say I think there may be issues with the overall distribution of WL items.

While I did manage to get 4 of my WL items yesterday and 6/7 of my received items were all from my WL...two of them were duplicates.

In the overall pool were three copies of another one of my WL items and yet I didn't get a single one of those which is kind of disappointing since it was a hoard item from my "Always Wanted" section of my WL. I'm sure yesterday there was some overlap with WL items since 4 of mine ended up in the pool and only three is shown per user.

But...I kind of feel like they could have been distributed better so that I got my 4th WL item (whether it was shown on the preview for me or not) in place of one of the other duplicates I got, since surely there had to be an overlap somewhere along the way?

This has happened in some of my previous groups too (as I mentioned before) only in those cases, I got duplicates of somebody else's WL items... which makes me feel kind of bad in case the user who really wanted them didn't get even one of the contributed copies in the pool.

i think the old mysterious melody was more fun and interactive because u can gift back and forth throughout the day. now it feels like a waiting game.

I love getting items from my wishlist, but I got triplicates twice, now.

I actually have a very affordable wishlist, so I'm a little baffled.

Adding items has become more complicated too, due to the errors when trying to get to another page.

Today I'm late to the game, didn't join right in the morning like usually, to see, if it'll be any different.

When my group had formed, again it was Melody, who contributed first - 5 items so far. Book ×2 Beanbag ×2 Wearable ×1 As mentioned before with others, I think she should wait, like in the beginning.

I got my own item back. Is that suppose to happen?

Took a break from MM to focus on gifting via the forums and entered my first after the updates yesterday and got FOUR of the same item and a duplicate of a different items. 2/3 items I got were wishlist, which was great! But it kinda takes the fun out of it when you're getting the exact same thing :(

6/7 items I received today were WL, only one dupe. Vast improvement.

Except that one of my non dupes I received, there were three duplicates of those in the pool, plus three of a ragdoll I have on my WL (that I didn't receive any of). So I'm hoping that those dupes were split and that other people had them one their wishlist too.

I've noticed when I use the wishlist peak, if I pick a more expensive item, I'm less likely to be duplicating someone else. I'm just a little worried that cheaper items on my wishlists might not be helping other people get better items themselves.

I don't know what has happened, but I put in items worth 100k or above and get back items worth 2k. I saw items from my WL in the pool and not getting any, plus seeing people who didn't put items in not only getting items but also getting high-value items. I literally got the lowest-value items in the pool, and two people put in nothing. The group before that I got 4 or the same item. The group before that I got 2 of my items back. Not sure what has happened but it isn't very pleasant. Especially since I should have built up quite a few "participation points" for joining every day and yet nothing different seems to happen, it actually seems like I am getting worse gifts in return the more I participate.

once again many dupes, Melody was also once again the first to donate, I had assumed she was supposed to go last. I also once again received back a WL item i purchased for someone else.

I’m starting to wonder if Melody is responsible for all these low value dupes. Yesterday, we had four Aqua Demi Plushies in the pool. Today? Four copies of two less than 100k food items, meaning 8 duplicates total. I cannot imagine the other three human users are doing this.

I was happy, I had 4 WL items, two wer double (but with bears you can never go wrong I can use them twice) and one thing I have no idea why....

All donated and I got 7 Items (happy)

what is the best way to gift? For the two days (three if you count today) I have been doing a WL item from each participant and then drop in two things I think people will either love having (high end boosters, Tokens, CSC or so) or will be able to sell easily.

I personally get one item from each person on the preview, and then two items. Wizard Tokens, other event currency, collection items (usually books but sometimes a plushie or beanbag)

Out of the 7 things I received this time round I got 2 wishlist items no repeats, none of my own back, fell victim to the Subi Invite virus though, rofl, 3 cheap items, the rest 2oo - 300 k. Overall less than my items, but o.k.

The group held 4 of the same book and 3 identical beanbags (I received none of those), 40 and 90 k. So one user must have gotten at least 2 of this book.

And of course I got a message of having unlocked 4 new reactions... I should have a hoard of these by now, yet it is still the same 7 ;-) Could it be this event is erroneously tied to completion of the MM?

The whole experience was better before the WL peek was added...

Yesterday I got 3 of the same item, today it was 4 of the same item (different item than yesterday) and 2 of another one. I mean, they were wishlist items, and they were cheap, so i get people would buy them, but from this it seems every group member gets the same (or at least very similar) list of WL items of other members...

Adding items to the pool is another can of worms... especially when navigating multiple pages of items - I get 404 errors almost constantly. It works itself out with enough refreshing, going back and forth and only adding items from one page at a time.

I'm also trying to get 1 WL item/user and then something like currencies/boosters to avoid repeats. However, today on the preview I'm seeing items from wishlists of only 2 other users. Perhaps my WL also isn't showing and that's why I barely get anything from it. 🤔 (I've got some other nice items so I don't mind).

Also, I wonder if the errors are browser-related? I'm getting 404 only while clicking "Join the festive conversation" hyperlink, otherwise everything's fine (I'm using Firefox 133.0.3).

When does this feature em “retire” for the season, is it until Jan 1st?

I think that showing a sample of the WL's of the people in groups it's a great idea, but, I guess it's showing the same items to everyone in the groups since I'm getting duplicates XD

I think better showing different items to each member to prevent this (not that I don't like Echos and Asios, but I'm good with one xD)

I join the sentiment that it was working "better" before the WL peek implementation though, item values were more balanced but, and I think this is a point, I was getting items I didn't know that existed, some were of my liking, some others don't, but, it was more like a surprise or a redoble de tambor mystery! therefore the name os the activity. :P

Mystery Melody should be a mystery. You don't go peeking in peoples houses before sending them a mystery gift. It was more interesting before the peeks.

There is really something wrong with the WL peek and distribution. I don't usually send WL items, didn't want to add to any disappointment having seen and received too many of others WL double and triples.

This time there were a few more expensive items to peek at. I bought a couple, one of which I got back x2. I was the only one of the group to buy that item. Melody must of bought one too and gave me both. I hope the person who had it on their wishlist got something nice. I'll not be buying any peeks again.

My wishlist is private, I was hoping it would be kept out of the peeking. I've removed all the lifelike and flowers etc I was tracking so they can't get added into the pool.
