Oh wow! Everything here stayed on thankfully. We are right behind a fire station, so for the most part we won't lose power at least. My husband and i are in our mid fourties, so if the wifi went away for a few days, we would be fine haha. My son on the other hand...well, he would be fine too, with some complaining of course :P

I still had my phone so I wasn't totally unconnected. I was just determined not to lose a day on the pools. I'm really trying for a year this time.

I'm in Orange County, and no fires so far. We're having a warm, dry winter and the winds have been bad. My friends in south LA county are smelling smoke, but so far it's clear here.

I feel like we always get a lot of fires, but this year it's more televised because of all the famous people losing their houses. I wonder if it'll change anything?

No I haven't gone since 2018, because of recovery from sugeries on hands, foots, leg. Then Covid hit, and I refused to travel during that time. Maybe soon not sure, its become expensive to travel that far lately.
