Looking for a step ladder so I am taller then my pups, when i look them in the eye. LOL They have grown so big and healthy. They are almost up to my waist level. Getting excited Hubby coming home, and we are going to go 2 of our 3 sons, their wives, my grand daughter and my grand wieners. Hubby is dressing up as santa for our grand daughter. I am getting plenty of pics.

If only I could, I would.

Like you wouldnt believe, its punishment for like 4 months. My first winter here, I was running around in short sleeve shirts and got stared at a lot.

Thanks Kim Step ladder LOL Sounds like fun with the family..We've already had 8 inches of snow..maybe when you're done with the ladder i could borrow it for when it snows again here..Lacey loves running in the backyard now..Yesterday A neighbour of mine ordered some snow boots for their dog(an x-tra large)but they didn't fit his dog so he gave them to Lacey.They fit her perfect.I think they go for about 60 dollars??

LOL, I can believe it. Once when we were visiting Grandma in Montana, it was a cold, drizzly day and Kelly and I asked Mom where our sweaters were. Grandma was totally scornful and chewed us out, because it was 60 degrees. She just couldn't understand that 60 is cold for most Texans.

Plus I get to fly I love it. But we drive from here to Dallas, then fly. Because its 2 days of driving to DC, its a 30 hour drive from here. ladders are important to a shorty like me, some of my kitchen cabinets can not be reached with out one. Never mind the challenge of cleaning ceiling fans or rain gutters. PLUS I can not go shopping without a supervising tall person, or else I end up asking a complete stranger "can I borrow their tall?" No joke! To think I was tall enough to get in the military, lol.

Now question how did you get lacey to like the boots on her paws? I tried shoes on Ronnie, and the boy was walking around like he was practicing a weird dance only he knew.

Aww grandma should have been nicer about it. No joke, my sister told me last week. She went out to feed peanuts to squirrel barefooted, not even socks in the snow. BRRR

Hi :) You found 1 Bathhouse Tokens in the pool! Good night. :) Lacey wore her boots in the house at first so she was used to them when we went outside.She loves them now as they keep her feet warm and dry.She walked funny at first all dogs do LOL

Ronnie wouldn't even wear them in the house. I refused to force him or make an issue about it. Because he was easily intimidated and act like he was being punished, poor thing was messed up from previous abuse. So I let him live his best life, on his own terms.

Lacey wasn't too sure about them at the first but i got them on her.Within 15 min 2 were flying off under the sofa and a chair..LOL It was fun the first time around.

Ronnie was so broken sometimes it was easy for him to revert back to hiding, You could raise you voice and he would freak out. I just didnt have the heart no matter how small to put him through much. He looked at unusual events as punishment for what he didnt know. Our first car trip, we got home. He wouldnt get out of the car. He was very scared, he thought we were taking him somewhere to get rid of him. He fought me so bad not to get out of the car. I crawled in with him, loved on him and sweet talked. Plus I promised him, he would never leave me. He feared abandonment with all his heart and soul. When he finally saw we were in the garage, he was so happy. Turn into a long trip dog instantly. We had him cremated, and we got him an urn. He sits on the mantel and watches over me. I got to keep my promise, it was very important to me.
