I think it's just that I've never done it before, and I was trying to remember how to do the links and then trying to figure out what type of GELDS to input. Once I have more experience with all that, it should be easier - not to mention, the way I am - I will likely have all the links and old lesson plans saved and can easily grab the right things next time I do lesson plans for the month hahaha - because I absolutely plan on using this type of lesson plan in my OWN classroom!! And I'm ORGANIZED, so I will end up with at least a months lessons planned out in advance. I also had to add in my small group activities and find GELDS for those. So working it out on my own for the first time is taking some time. I've got almost all of this first week done - I need one more book, and thus the appropriate GELDS to go with it, and I need to verify the correct "specials" for the week, and get my lead teacher to give me info on two of the activities I left in there - "missing word" and "sounds/same/different" - I know what the activities ARE - but I also know she uses an old printed paper for them, so I need to at least get a copy of ONE of those, to create my own for future use. I am wondering if I need to create my own assessment forms? I mean for this first week its "work samples" which is whatever the kids create (two activities are craft projects and one craft has a sentence paper to go with it) and the other is a graph....but like other times I might need to create a checklist. Guess I'll figure that out as I go.

And then I can begin working on the 2nd week of lesson plans and so on, until all 5 are done ;) I also need to work on my philosophy part 2 (ugh) and my classroom observation notes for TWO upcoming assignments once I get back to work.

Oh yeah, I'm sure it'll go faster. But for today.. ugh haha.

Yesterday I watched The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins.. today Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Interesting to me that there's two musicals about fighting Nazis LOL. I haven't watched Bedknobs and Broomsticks in ages. Like, at least 30 years, maybe more.

Oh wow. I haven't watched any of those in years and years. Actually, I'm not sure if I ever watched The Sound of Music? I know about it, I have a general idea of what its about, but I don't recall actually WATCHING it? Like I KNOW I've watched Mary Poppins and I remember watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks although I have no real memory of what its about anymore....

I'm trying to do my battle quests and then drills.... and then I guess I'll go work on another week of lesson plans or something, just to keep momentum going!

Oh boy. The rain has begun again. (It POURED and STORMED last night, and then stopped for a while this morning....its POURING again now) AND its supposed to drop to like 15 degrees out tonight.

Oh my goodness, The Sound of Music is my favorite.. it was when I was small, too. Actually.. the teacher and principal had to have a conference with my mom and nana when I was in kindergarten, because while I watched the movie over and over, I didn't know what a nazi was or why they were the bad guys, etc. And whenever I asked, they always said "Oh, you'll learn about that in school." And I started kindergarten a year early, so here I was, 4 years old, bored out of my mind while everyone else was learning ABCs and how to count when I was already reading chapter books, etc. So whenever the teacher asked if there were any questions, I always asked about Nazis and what they were...

So apparently they thought maybe I was being raised by white supremacists?

Anyway, my Nana told me this story about 47 times as I grew up LOL. Though, like.. they could have just told me :P

Yuck! Yeah, ice is the WORST.

Like I said, we've already got about 6 inches fo snow, they're calling for 16 or so. They already cancelled school for tomorrow.

I'm so very glad I don't live where I have to shovel snow :P I bet you got some good exercise tho!

Hahah yea, I don't know why they didn't explain. Maybe they couldn't' figure out how to do it in a child appropriate way? And thought the teacher could? Except Kinder teachers don't teach that LOL

Kind of feel like our country is becoming a Nazi situation (tho, NO I don't really want to talk about it or go in depth or anything - I stay far away from news posts and politics and only get glimpses of things on my yahoo/google page when I open it up).

Yeah.. I'm so mad about everything I can't talk about it anyway.

All I can say about it is.. it's nice that, at least in these old movies, the Nazis are the bad guys >.<

And right?! Like.. I don't want to have to explain some things to my kids, but I did anyway :P

Its a big old scary crazy world right now.

And yes! Some things you just HAVE to "man up" and explain. Otherwise no one does, and all kids are just confused. Or everyone explains and then they have three different versions being told and its STILL confusing. Ugh.

They are the bad guys. For sure. Can't believe people don't see that is what is going on, I can, from just my small glimpses, but its a "what can I do about it" situation for me, which the answer is "nothing really" so - yeah. Thats mostly why I don't want to talk about it. That and it just makes me sad to even contemplate that the world is going in that direction again :(

Anyway. Done with battle. On to Drills....

edit: ugh man. Nathan just left for work. I had put one of those foam door blocker things on the front door, and naturally it popped right off as soon as he opened the door. I had to go fix it. And will have to fix it again when he comes home I'm sure. I need to find a different way to fix the front door. I've been using the big thick dog mattress/bed to block the gap in front of the door by putting the dog bed in front of the door since Belle hardly uses it, but then I have to move it to open the door hahaha And so since it was going to be so cold I remembered I had the foam things, so I put one on (the one where there are two foam cylinders, one on each side of the door, in a fabric cover) Knew it wouldnt' work once the door opens, based on how the door is. But eh. I tried. Works GREAT when the door is SHUT. Not so great for opening/closing the door.

Oh, yeah, we have one of the bean filled ones against the downstairs door.. but it only works if someone is home to fix it again after someone leaves haha.

Yeah. It doesn't help my door is METAL too, so if I want to securely attach it, I'd have to screw it in and make horrible holes in my door that would be visual (like, at the bottom, but along the front/back, if you know what I mean? I am thinking to get another of the slide along the bottom gap filler things, BUT again, the way the door is, I'm scared it won't fit/work right either. Part would be squished/get broken and the other part would not fill the gap. sigh

edit Welp. I see the "send a gift" is still not working for Major Drills. I even sent it to a person who popped up in the scrolling selection of friends instead of typing in your name. But nope. That didn't work either. (For some reason, YOU don't show up in that scrolling list of friends. Very odd).

Oh my goodness. I can't imagine that much snow. You probably saw my "snow" pictures the other day. Thats about what we normally get. Once in a blue moon we might actually get enough to cover EVERYTHING instead. But its still not INCHES worth!! phew. AND you'll have to go shovel it all off again later. Ugh.

Just finished drills. Now vending. Then pricing my shops and then I'll have NOTHING to do on here Guess I will have to go back to either reading or college classwork lol

Oof, yeah that is stingy. I rarely pay attention to the individual quests anymore - mostly because I know I still get at least 3-4 mil sP profit daily (from each site usually)

I also created a new shop just for quest reward items, and I'm not completely surprised but still sort of shocked I've already sold almost 35mil worth of sP in there since January 1st!!

I've just noticed lately. Though I think I only get 3-4m total between the two sites lol.

Really? Wow. I've been tracking both sites since Jan 1st.

The least I've gotten was from kumos 2.4mil profit. With 3 quests gave up. The most I've gotten was 4.5mil sP profit on legacy, with Maleria on the weekend. Those are from two separate days, but both are a daily sP profit.

The most I've got on kumos was 3.4 mil, and the least from legacy was 2.9mil.

That is ONLY pure sP profit. I write down my beginning onhand sP - I go do all my kumos quests and write down my ending onhand sP. I go do all my legacy quests and write down my ending sP. Then I subtract to get the profits. THEN I do other things like collect income, do chase, play games, train pets, etc that gives or costs sP

I got 5m today between both, which is a fairly good day!

I did quit one of Maybels, and one? of Saggis and one of Mauves.
