Hi :) I have loved this winter! I love the snow and this area has had more snow than normal this year. A couple of nights ago there was a thunderstorm and the thunder was so dramatic. So far I really love it here - not just the weather but I like the people. I've heard people complain about the drivers here but my experience has been positive...coming from Southern California I can compare to the drivers here and they are so courteous here. Whoever is complaining has never driven the freeways I commuted on for years. haha you ask a simple question and get a great big answer... :P sorry!

I asked a more specific question hoping for a more specific answer, so I win! Are you in Oregon? My memory gets worse and worse as I approach 50 🤦🏼‍♀️ If 99% of my family didn't live in SoCal I would definitely move. The traffic here is crazy.

We finally got some snow in the mountains this past weekend. What a relief! I saw this tiny little spring bubbling out of the ground bc of the snow melting. It was so cute!

Hope everyone has been doing well! I have been a little busy with my writing, but I will do my best to pop in more;

How sweet it is! The days and nights are warm enough to warrant the seasonal changes to my routine. I no longer need blankets when sleeping, and I can bucket wash with slightly cooler water.

I still open my doors and windows to air out the house, and the clothesline is up for use again.

And comes the bloom of the grass and weeds to bring the yard work requests. I think the full moon is tomorrow, I see a very slight out of round on Luna. I doubt my field glasses would show much detail...

I am writing a fantasy story right now. That is the genre I have the most experience in so it is the most comfortable for me to write, but I would like to try other genres as well!

- I am here for at least the next five years :) I love it and I love the winter! I'm disappointed that all our snow has melted but it had to happen at some point. I sold my sweet camper...no way to store and it would have to be "winterized" here. I might get a little camper again...or better yet a camper van...

- well I had to look up nonvascular plants :P There are lots of big beautiful parks here right in the city so when spring decides to spring I'll be taking some long walks in those parks...maybe I'll find some pretty mosses there or other nonvascular. Look at me learning a new word today!
