I had a bad flu for almost a week. Not enough rest. I am working 33 hours at school (it feels like 60). Takes the stuffing out of me. I come home, feed and pet my kitten and veg on the recliner until bedtime. Not much energy to do anything else.

I'm glad the flu part is over, at least. Working with kids is exhausting. At least my high schoolers are somewhat independent. When I was working with little kids, my brain was scrambled at the end of every day 🫩

Thank you <3 No, no breaks for me this year. I even am required to "make up" a day, since the Hanuccah (my spelling, not universal LOL) "camp" runs all week except for Friday. So I am required to work those 4 "Friday" hours on my day off this coming Sunday, which will means THAT week I will work 6 days! UGH! But my daughter signed me up for a retreat 2 days in February and if they don't have good food and soft bed there, I WILL LEAVE hehehe

I am so burnt out already, it feels like June. Which is no help, because I am required to work until August 15th!!!! Sigh. If only I was raking in the big bucks with this job.

omg your schedule sounds horrid! Until August you're working? Does that mean you're doing summer school too? It's so hard to find a job that pays well, they're happy to see you, and it isn't exhausting. And getting harder all the time... I hope you're not also having to handle all the chores at home.

it’s totally cool most years, when I work summer school 3 weeks in July and they pay for 1 week in July and August while I get off. But this year is special ed; while I make a smidgen more, there are less breaks. We share the burden with the parents. They have it more rough. I don’t do much around the house anymore. Too tired.

on it. I forget to take my vitamins because I don’t have time for breakfast in the morning. I walk every day (except for Saturday and rain days) with a walking partner at 6:00 am for about an hour, get home, rush to change clothes, get food ready and have a cup of coffee, then walk to work and run around all day until 15:30 (Wednesdays and Fridays earlier). I come home a zombie usually.

Not my most patient self. My 6 year old granddaughter was being herself and apparently I was giving off stay away vibes. My daughter started laughing and told her to come sit beside her “nana is not feeling too patient right now”. Sheesh. But it’s true. Grandpa can tease and mess with them but my behaviour gives off “grouch” vibes. LoL

my youngest got married last year but Imgur doesn’t open anymore and the last one I put up on a new site is so big! I don’t know how to make it smaller! That was the wedding of my youngest. :-) All but my special boys are married. I hope someday my special boys will also find love and companionship. I wish that to all.

the picture is large, but with some scrolling with the horizontal bar it is a great picture! I'm always amazed about your family. How many special boys do you have?

we raised 2 special boys. One lives now in a group home and one recently left a group home and is now trying out living on his own. He had surgery on his knee a couple weeks ago, he was hit by a car while riding his electric bike. We are very grateful that was the worse damage to him. We also had a girl who lived with us for 2.5 years. I pray she also finds herself love and good companionship. She is is some of the wedding pictures too 😃

Hallo, its been awhile. I see that the forums on the kumos side are accessible to me. But its been long enough to convince me to stay out much.

My car is still idle, but I have been setting money aside to try again. JAG suggests I swap clutch packs between old and new, while my youngest brother offers to help get another replacement.

It was nice to see gifts, where no tree stands. What a curious event to unfold, best I store the goodies that I not absentmindedly sell them. Buh bye, Waves port!
