I won't forget this Sunday, it's the fifth anniversary of my mum's passing.
I may make a big exception to change HAs for the occasion.
The new year will start with another episode of garage monkeys. On my car and with JAG.

do you do anything for your mum's day of passing? I have traditions for mine's birthday but I tend to ignore her death date. Don't know how healthy that is, but I suspect she'd understand 🤷🏼♀️

In my mentality the day one dies is more important. The day one is born has nothing to celebrate, other than being the beginning. I plan on little other than remember her past life, with one detail in mind. Her last words to me were, "What would I have done without you." tho under her meds. For this occasion only I'll change my HA to portray her coming home.

No need, I had the two made up some time ago. I will include the second here, my HA is across that awaiting her after so long. by February30th

It is also our custom to acknowledge the day of passing, though birthdays also trigger memories for me, especially of birthday celebrations together . last words from yiur mom are very special.
