But for real, thank you SO MUCH for reading through these suggestions and taking the time to communicate with us! The pet community is smaller atm than in the past, but no less passionate and devoted. Each small improvement means the world (esp. mass reading omg I can't believe it's finally happening!) and is truly appreciated!

The new pet creation page is so fun! I love seeing the available colors, spotlight winners, and related items! I feel like new users especially will benefit from the creative inspiration and the ability to see where they could take that pet right there on the creation page.

If and when you need help, we're here. And if it's not feasible because of complications and logistics, I think folks can understand that too. But hopefully there will be ways for us to give back through our strengths and passions, Subeta has given so much to so many of us after all <3

I really love that new pet creation page - that's the perfect way to add in the lore behind each species and also to showcase some of the spotlight winners! (and having the reminder on there that pet names are unique is also useful for new / returning users who might not realise that) :D

I had a quick test of mass reading, and it looks brilliant :D

I love the way I can easily check for books lurking in my vault (I have wishlisted the ones I still need to read to my pet, but some might slip through the net!), and mass reading a couple of books to my little (second) reader worked really well :D

Definitely looking forward to seeing mass feeding - especially if we can nominate a gallery to select food from (I use a gallery as my 'pantry' to store the food my gourmand still needs to eat).... or maybe to have an official pantry that the mass feed could pick food from?

Omg!! So exciting. Having books from your vault show up is a great idea that I would never have thought of. I guess I had a handful of books in my vault that I didn't realize I had, including 5 that my main battler hadn't read?? Amazing. (This also lead me to discover I have 15 tomes in my vault?? No idea what is going on here but I am seriously infinitely grateful that you had this search our vaults as well as inventories...)

I think the only thing I'd personally like in addition is for the items to maybe have the 'account search' link? I read to a handful of pets and that would speed up the process of checking if another pet has read the book first, so I wouldn't have to open the page up for that pet as well. It would also be great if there was an indication if an item is on your wishlist or not -- I can't remember if this is a thing you're already working on with Kumos so I just thought I'd mention it haha. I have all the books my main battler still needs to read on a wishlist (same with my gourmand and food) so I'd love to be able to remove them from my wishlist as I check books for him to read in bulk! In general I'd love for it to be like how items are on the legacy site, where you can see if it's on your wishlist at a glance and there's easy access links to account search and shop search - that might be nice if you want to double-check the value of a certain book when mass reading!

I just read a bunch of random books from my vault to my tertiary battler and it was SO much less painful. So excited about this! This admittedly did come not too long after I finished up some reading-related goals, so I'm not as direly in need of this as I was when those slots dropped... so I feel like I can't get the full experience of seeing how much less tedious this makes going from 0 to 260+ intelligence... hopefully I don't have to wait for next year's loyalty box to experience just how much less tedious this would make the process... ;)

(Sorry sorry I was going to try not to be too annoying but I'm pretty much, like, contractually obligated to mention pet slots if there's any kind of opportunity? I wouldn't feel right if I didn't. Collecting pets on here is unironically one of the things I'm most passionate about in life. Every day I look at my 133 pets like 'please sir i want some more')

ANYWAY. I am Very excited that it sounds like there are plans to make a food version of this as well, since that'll be a huge help!! I've been trying to get better about feeding my gourmand pet but it's SO tedious and hard to remember. And the acknowledgement of us wanting more ways to make pets hungry... 👀👀👀

reminded me a few posts down and I'm not sure how easy this would be, but I've always really wished we could organize the unread books/uneaten food pages by price. I like to organize things by price and start buying up cheaper things, and being able to do that directly on the unread/uneaten page would... be a LOT more convenient than when I had to wishlist, uh, 8,000 items or so for my baby gourmand... so that I could then use that part of my wishlist to organize by price...

any chance we can get filtering and sorting options for unread books?

I would love to be able to isolate remaining masquerade books during the holiday

or maybe sort, possibly even filter, by user price or main shop price so that I can work on the cheaper stuff first

there's also a part of me that wants to see a 'direct from shop' option in 'Available to Read' such that books that are in stock with any NPCs can be purchased and read all in one fell swoop, akin to the 'direct to collection' option in the antique store. but i know programmatically this would probably be subject to a race condition similar to the first pass at kumos quests

It looks really great and is certainly an amazing idea.

However I'd really love the ability to mouseover the items and have their information pop up like they do currently with description and prices, as I have a LOT of books in my Vault and some are in the "under 20k, ok to read" category, and some are worth millions that I might not want to use and don't want to do a search for every item (kind of defeats the purpose). I use the popup feature a LOT when finding what books a pet hasn't read yet.

OMG!!! Thank you SO MUCH for this! Quite amazing. So excited! I do have a question, tho - why is it that my pet's intelligence only went to 239 when 530 books were read to him? It should be 530.

hey so I filed a ticket and nothing can be done to recover the 300+ rare books I accidentally read to one of my non-main pets, so maybe be a bit careful using the read all feature right now, y'all. I just lost 200m+ in books at least bc the read all feature still read books from my vault, even after I had clicked "inventory only" mode.
