I got a call back from the vet. We're going to go to the vet and get a slight wing clip for the cockatiels.

We're also going to use a spray bottle (set to stun as the vet said) as a deterrent.

I missed something. Are they fighting? But that sounds like an easy fix. Hope it helps. :)

Dany was being really aggressive towards Jorah. Jorah also started to become more rebellious. We thought we were going to have to give Dany away.

So an easy solution is much better than that =D

I got a bit of good news from the kidney doctor. He said my kidneys aren't sick of the own right but are reactiing to my cardiac issues. He said once theose got fixed then my kidneys will bounce right back. I was so relieved I cried. When I got home, I did a happy dance and threw my back out. This is the first time I've been horizontal since Tuesday. I hope you all are doing well and that nothing bad has happened. I'll probably be back on Sunday. Hugs ❤ ❤ ❤

Sorry I've been so absent! It's been a pretty dang busy few weeks for me so I've been popping on here and there but haven't had a ton of mental / emotional energy for chatting or doing much else. I'll try to pop back through the chat and catch up with what's going on in everyone's lives!

Updates here would be:

• Back to working at full capacity / speed - it's been good but I'm still learning to balance everything!
• MIL has made a lot of progress. She had a little setback two days ago but is already bouncing back!
• I adopted a kitten. Her name is Quenya. Photo of said kitten. You can't see in this photo, but she has amazing secret stripes along her body that are visible at certain angles / in the sun. She's a spitfire and a lover. The current residents are adjusting well so far.
• Husband starts his new, much better job tomorrow!

I would say broken knees suck (and they do) but I'm also so thankful that you ended up in the hospital when you did so that your kidney issue was discovered and you were started on this path to long-term / permanent recovery. Finding out they're just having issues related to the cardiac issues (versus on their own in addition) must have felt like an immense relief. ❤️ Hang in there and keep getting better! Sounds like brighter days are coming your way.

Oh no, cancer is so terrifying. I am so glad that it was benign, what a relief.

I hope Lass comes back. I'm so sad for her if hackers took this site away. I can't imagine losing my account. It's been part of my life for so long.
