Morning all. Last day before i leave for Paris. Leaving very early tomorrow morning (read 3:30am)...

In real life news, my grandfather passed away this morning. I have a lot of feelings, and honestly so far it's easier to just play Subeta, watch LOTR, and sip my coffee so I don't think too much on them. We've got a hurricane rolling in this evening or tomorrow, so that will certainly keep me busy. Praying it continues to drift west so we don't get the worst of it. We had horrible flooding during the last storm, but some factors (like current water levels) are better this time. We prepped better as well, much better honestly. So here's hoping things go smoothly.

- Oh, no, not you too?! I really want a mossberg shotgun. I know it's funny thinking of a blind person with a shotgun (trust me, hubby has goine over all the reasons I shouldn't have one) but I want it for protection. We live out in the middle of nowhere and there are a lot of idiots out here with guns. They love to fire them on holidays and also every Saturday morning for actual practice. I would just gfeel better if I had some way to protect myself when I'm alone at home. But, I do agree, a blind person with a shotgun is a funny image, so I don't blame you. 😂 I grew up around guns and have been taught how to maintain and handle them. I think if this country had a mandatory gun safety and maintainence training program that everyone who wanted to purchase a gun had to take and pass before they were allowed to purchase a gun things would be so much better here. Sadly, I don't see that happening any time soon. XD

- I'm betting you're on your way to Paris as I write this. I hope you have a fantastic time. Eat lots of French food for me and enjoy the scenery! :D

- Thanks! You can get Morty Cards to bolster your CSC numberrs. Plush, going to the bathhouse helps too. You cann get CSC every 5th visit (usually, sometimes it doesn't give it but most times it does.) :D

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude! I just really found the image funny. Well, you know how to handle one so it would be feasible. You just need sound targets. I know they have them. Talking hubby into it is the hard part. :) And maybe some kind of signal for family so they aren't mistaken for intruders. I pulled a knife once on my son many years ago when he made a surprise visit and some noise woke me up that wasn't supposed to be there. It was fight or flight in the dark. Luckily it was just a couple seconds when I recognized him and stopped the motion. It could have turned out much worse. From then on he calls out from the front door and if I don't answer, then from the door to my room. :)

- The funny thing is that I decked him a couple of times before I lost my sight, too. He's just so darned quiet I told him I was going to hang a bell around his neck so I could tell where he was. 😂

- Yeah, the screen reader is weird that way. Hubby says I get hyperfixated on things connected to my health. He may be right. It certainly is no fun. :(

Oh that's funny! But I know in the military they train soldiers to be silent. I have friends and family that have/had been out for decades and still do that. My Navy Seal guy taught me that too among other things, and often even now I scare people as well. But I get startled easily too. My hearing isn't the best any more.

You have a LOT going on, so its no wonder you worry about your health, esp with new issues adding to it. I wish I could cast a spell and it would all be gone. <3
