I was checking every book I got and reading to all of my 12 pets until a few years ago when I started vaulting books to save for the pets that needed them for job raises. Nice to have them when I'm in the mood to get my pets better jobs. Since I have 12 pets and if I get 12 of a certain book I just read to all of them. Not sure if that makes any sense. :-P

RIP Punkin Chunkin. Though seriously I do miss Grant Imahara a lot. He was such a positive force in the world. :(

yeah, it is a great feeling. I finished and posted 3 stories totalling 5k words that I had been working on, two where I'd started them weeks before and got stuck, and one where I wrote it start to finish on Sunday afternoon/evening.

I've become addicted to a new game, Pixel Cat's End ( https://www.pixelcatsend.com/ ) where creatures that look and act very much like cats, go to a new world and create their own village and go adventuring. It's really fun! It's in semi-open beta now, and there are only short windows for signups. I signed up in the October window. Not sure when the next one will be. A lot of players came there from Flight Rising which seems to be popular with the players, so it may resemble that game in some ways, I am not sure because I haven't played it 🤣 But I love cats, and I love this game a lot so far.

Thank you so much! It took me 3 or 4 days to make an HA with that dress. I kept using all purple and it just didn't seem to work and then today when I tried the blue it all went together pretty easily. :-) Are you still liking Palia? I haven't forgotten about it but I might be worried I'll like it! Lol

And that's why I stopped at 12 pets and really is more than I want, but I can't bare to get rid of any of them. BRB - OMG 42 pets?!!!! 😳 But you have so many cute ones and now I wish I hadn't looked... that fish one! :-)

I'd been distracted from Palia by Pixel Cat's End lately, but Palia had a patch today and I logged in and had fun. I think I'm waiting till they add more content before I spend more than a few hours a week on it for a bit...
