Cleaning was anything but therapuetic for me. I'm glad you get some good from it. I shouldn't have malligned my youngest. He has always loved cleaning. As a little one he was always joining me as I cleaned. He always made a bigger mess at first but by the time he was10 he was quite the little cleaner. He'll make someone a good partner someday. :D

Holy shit that's cold! I've never experienced anything below 0 F before. I probably have enough books to last me like 2 years if I started reading regularly again. Which I am going to try my best to do!

That's so wonderful 😭 It's great that he is like that! He will truly make a wonderful partner one day <3 When I was young I was always left a list of chores to do when I got home from school, so I guess cleaning has just become a thing of habit for me now 😂

oh she is, have to put on a lot to go outside and not freeze. supposed to warm back up next week :'( i have to go shopping sometime this weekend i think i have a bit piled up and all the SE's i have ordered to come yet.. plus 2-3 /month

- There is a misconception that parents don't have favorites. He is my favorite. I love all my kids but he is the one I'm closest to. I'll cry when he decides to move out. 😭 Whyen I was young I was left a list of chores to do, also. I didn't react the same way you did. Probably because my adoptive mother was sitting on the sofa watching soaps and just couldn't be bothered to do anything. So, she left it all to me. :/

And I hope you have a good weekend too! As tired as I am today I made Liz the mini meatloaves but instead of roasted potatoes I made her cornbread. Was from a mix so super easy. LOL! She loved it though. You doing anything fun?

There's nothing wrong with having one you are closest too, I'm sure the same will happen with me and my kids when they are older. I never really understood why some parents want their kids to chores, I guess to teach them responsibilities and to do things themselves. But for me, I like my cleaning done a certain way 😂 So I don't see me doing that 😂 If anything it would be to just take the trash out LOL!

oh i mighta.. my car wouldn't start so hubby had to take us in his truck

- I had all my kids do chores. It was to teach them to be self-sufficent. It worked with some, not so much with others. lol :D

Oh dang >_< It's gotta be hard living in places that get that cold.

I've been seeing a lot where because parents did that some kids grow up to be absolute slobs because they see cleaning as punishment. I truly think it's just personality though at this point lol.

well if i was able to have plugged it in, it woulda started but hubby didn't get my plug out. he's working on it now, LOL xD

- Yeah, I agree, it's personality. My oldest son is a slob while my youngest is the picture of cleanliness. My daughters vary also. You couldn't ask for 3 more different girls. I love them to pieces though, even with their differences. :D

The snow passed but it's still only 21 degrees here today and will be way colder overnight. We're not used to it being that cold. 😬 Liz and I did get in our daily walk though. I let our pup walk for about 15 minutes and then I put him in his sling and carried him the last 5 minutes. Here he is looking annoyed with me because of the coat. LOL
