I'm not sure this is going to make battling more appealing overall if you "have" to buy a new weapon set for every tier as your pet grows. It may end up being infinity cheaper to buy a ton of cheapo tier specific weapons but if people feel like it costs more because they "have" to buy weapons more often then that's counter productive. It also sounds like a pain in the ass and will make the learning curve even higher as people have to figure out or be told what to buy for every tier. Given that people already feel like battling is too expensive and hard to learn I'm not sure this is the best route.

It's early days and it's hard to judge only part way through a huge revamp. Hope by the end my assessment is wrong.

Rocketlauncher He said the challengers would be tweaked as needed once the weapon revamp is finished. This may all be clearered up once the challengers are made to match the weapons. Guess time will tell.

I see the * next to Malerias Clawed Glove and also the note after so I'm assuming there's no additional custom coding?

Also Frost Quill seems like it's stats didn't change? I have blocking of 50 fire and attacks of 10 each for wind and water and 15 for ice which is what I had before.

so this is old and kinda off topic but I don't see any answers to this.

Use the training centre, spend CSC and Autotrain. My battle pet started out at T3 just because she did all the auto-training necessary to become a SAI Deputy Director, she's a Director now. Obviously the billions of books you must read to get in SAI don't help that much but training your pet to the strength, level, etc, to advance in those high-powered jobs will get you there to T3 without having to have too many boring fights.

• Dragon Soul After playing around with this one I think it actually has just two attacks that have an equal chance of occuring. At least, I couldn't find any meaningful difference between the freezing and nonfreezing turns, which leads me to believe they're both part of the same attack.

Thank you so much for that info so far! is also working on sorting out the Arrow Harpoon and has provided me with info on some of the others though they seem to be a bit difficult to track what their scaling. Ones that need more info: Beanstalk Whip, Panzer Hydra Blade (no T9 pet to test with, have T8 and T10 & up), and Little Chopper (no T9 pet to test with - believe it scales by tier).

Thanks for the fix to the Cursed Bow! That one really is living up to it's name haha. Annoying questions: - I don't understand what healing cap means for Turkey Quill. It has the same healing stats as before (3-27%) as far as I can tell. I'm also not sure what you mean by "ignores heal" for the Thorny Rose Dagger & Ultra Keen Eye Drops Lightly Feathered Blowgun says it had it's attack raised but it looks the same to me as before (showing 13-20 Wind, 10 Earth, 7-10 Light).

Does anyone know what the adjusted Defense Boost is for the Light Sword of Justice?

Thank you for your reply! :) I do occasionally use the Autotrain but I try to only use CSC I found in the bathhouse. Since my primary goal is a specific job title for each pet I'm trying to level multiple pets not just one 'battle' pet it just adds up. If the battle system didn't seem like some kind of esoteric knowledge and I cared about the rewards from lower level bosses I would be more motivated. But so far as I can tell you need to be really high tier to defeat the bosses that drop nice books, HA items or anything else of value. I know that isn't what is currently being worked on but knowing progress is being made is makes me hopeful that there will be more good options to choose from in the future. Especially affordable ones.
