Stay safe in the storm! Ugh I hate ice. Its supposed to rain this weekend again, and if it gets cold enough it will ice over. So sorry about your laptop! Save save save for sure. I have lost everything before and it gutted me. RP and pics that couldn't be replaced, plus so much more. Like most people now days my life is in my computer.

- Iff it's storming out, we stay home. When it's nasty out I make sure we have enough food that no one needs to run out for anything. I hate winter storms as much as I love them. They scare me if I have to go out in one but I love sitting inside and listening to the wind howl. It's comforting for some weird reason. Oh, I learned the hard way in college to back up everything. I have thumbdrives all over the house that have my back-ups on them. lol Now that I'm trying to write again, I'vve gathered all my thumb drives and am using them to back-up my stuff... Then hubby tells me Microsoft has this thing called one drive that auto backs stuff up. :/ After I did all that work. He's giggling over it , too. The booger. 😂

I love storms as long as its not a tornado, doesn't have hail, and I and no one I care about has to go out in them. I love the howl of the wind too and the pelting rain. And I love to watch it snow esp. So peaceful. You know one year it snowed and it was beautiful out. It was perfect. Everything except the roads and patios and sidewalks were covered with snow. I took some pics. Then the next day I went out and all my snow from my yard and my neighbor's yard was gone. I looked across the street and there was a big snowman on a yard that was still covered with snow. I was so mad you just don't know. I still hold a grudge and that was over a decade ago. I don't care if it was kids no one should steal anything, esp anyone else's snow! How low can you get? Growl But because I knew it probably was kids I didn't storm over there and bitch the parents out. I really wanted to. At least that never happened again. My friend from Minnesota offered to send several truck loads of snow to replace it. I wish! lol

- Thank you for that laugh and smile. I sorely needed that today. They stole your snow! I know it riles you up but it makes me howl with laughter. I used to live in Minnesota so I love snow and miss it. I'd probably be angry if someone stole my snow, too. But, I also know what it's like to have 3 ft on the ground and another 2-3ft forecasted. It's not fun shoveling, driving in, or trying to get off your roof so it doesn't collapse. Still, you made me smile on a day when I was upset because I realized this month marks 9 years since I lost my sight. Thank you, dear friend. Hugs ❤ :D

Been a hard weekend at work one of my residents is in her last stages of life... And was not in the mood to do stuff not even in my bullet journal... couch has been my friend.... Not sure if i like this mood.... not really fun..

It's okay to feel listless and unlike yourself sometimes. It happens. It won't last forever. In the meantime, be as gentle with yourself as you can and give yourself some grace. It's going to be alright. And if you can't get your hands on all the things you want from the new year's shop, let me know and I'm happy to help. ❤

- I'm sorry about your patient. That's never easy to go through. I'll keep you and your patient in my thoughts. I think Garnet is right, everyone is allowed to be in a funk now and then. Be kind to yourself in the mean time. You're dealing with a lot with the flooding, difficult work conditions and now a end stage patient. Plus, it's the middle of winter so less sunlight. and - Not much of a storm. All it's done since about 6am is rain. It's not even sleet. It'll probably freeze tonight but I doubt this will cause any problems as it'll all drain away before it freezes. Maybe they'll get the snow up north? It's certainly not making an appearance here. Poopy weather. :P

It's supposed to get really cold here this weekend, with a 75% chance of snow on monday. I won't believe the snow until I see it. But the temps are usually right. I heard this storm was affecting all of the lower 48 except for North Dakota in some way or another. It poured rain here half the day on Sunday. Hope it doesn't do that again with the colder weather. I hate ice.

Called in sick, my body said to me rest and take care of yourself so this time i listened...

No storms here just very cold (minus 7 degrees celcius), cold eastern winds and sunny.

- I'm sorry about your patient. It's the mark of a good nurse that you're saddened by her passing. I hope you feel better soon. As for the weather, it did nothing but rain here. It didn't even freeze. That kind of weather has reserved itself for those north of me.
